ℹ️ Basic Info

  • Gene Beauregarde is an elder dragon with a talent for creating unique desserts with his powerful dragon magic. His ultimate dream was to sell his treats under his “Beauregarde Candy Corporation” brand.
  • Gene is the creator of the Candy Kobolds. These are mass-produced small dragons made of gelatin, magic and a candy “soul heart”. They live to serve Gene’s every whim.
  • Gene is an infamous figure in the Tooniverse. In 1972, he accidentally served untested, experimental candy to 5 company investors. The transformation effects of this candy nearly killed his guests. The media frenzy around this unusual incident made worldwide news and ruined his reputation.
  • After the candy mishap, Gene went into hiding to escape legal action and prison. Gene survives by being nomadic and selling candy in secret. He also employs his Candy Kobolds to steal materials.
  • Gene has a cult following of super-fans who love his candies, and the mystery of his whereabouts. Some fans have located him by following clues for years, and Gene rewards these fans with special treats… for a price.
  • Gene is extremely polite, but extremely dangerous. He has committed many acts of accidental violence and murder on those who trespass into his hiding places.

🎭 Personality

Gene Beauregarde is an extremely skilled chocolatier, baker and food scientist. He takes his candy-making very seriously and is insistent on having others try his confections. His passion and imagination for his craft is the only thing making him happy while most of the world brands him as a sadistic criminal.

Gene is a gentlemanly dragon, but has a playful, trickster side. He loves to entertain others, and enjoys surprising them with treats, scares or hilarious situations. He prefers being in control of any situation, and being the center of attention. Gene especially adores the attention he receives from his cult-following of super fans, and would spoil them with treats given the opportunity.

Gene likes to sing and dance, and he enjoys large-scale spectacles of entertainment. His fleet of Candy Kobolds are trained to perform in bombastic, spontaneous musical numbers.

Gene has little tolerance for trespassers, rude behaviour and insubordination. Gene’s gentlemanly demeanour changes, and he becomes very blunt and cruel. When possible, he will torture the misbehaving person with a silly, sadistic and unusual candy-related situation.

Due to Gene’s incredible age, powers and durability, he has little understanding of how weak other species are in comparison to him. Sometimes, his torture victims are left with permanent damage or do not survive.

Gene loves the imagination and innocence of children. Gene will never physically harm a child or teen, even if they are a brat.

🧬 Biology

As a Tooniverse denizen, Gene Beauregarde has the typical biology and abilities of a cartoon character. Gene can pull objects out from behind his back… but only when it’s funny!

Gene Beauregarde is an elder dragon who is over 1,000 years old. Biologically, he is the equivalent of a 50 or 60 year old human. Gene can fly and breathe fire. He is also physically strong and is coated with durable scales. His body also possesses incredible draconic magic that he uses to create his desserts.

Gene’s powerful dragon abilities allow him to create his fleet of living Candy Kobolds. They are made of gelatin and candy corn and are animated by dragon magic. Each Candy Kobold is powered by a candy “soul heart” that is infused with a fraction of Gene’s own life force. If Gene eats the Candy Kobold, the life force is recycled and it can be used to make a replacement Candy Kobold.

Gene carries a cane for purely aesthetic reasons and does not have any mobility issues.

Gene has the very rare ability of "Fourthsight",  a Tooniverse ability that allows him to address the audience outside of the 4th wall (that's us!). Any Toon without Fourthsight cannot see this audience, and they believe those with Fourthsight are hallucinating or mentally ill.

🔍 History

Gene Beauregarde has lived a long, varied life over 1,000 years. Not much is known about him before the 1900’s. Gene tells stories about being royalty, a world-traveling adventurer, a fierce pirate, famous author, celebrated war hero, and the like. Nobody knows if these are true or false.

Gene’s fascination with food science started just before the 1900’s. He experimented with creating soft drinks for medicinal use, but found his true passion with making chocolates, desserts and candies. He started the “Beauregarde Candy Corporation” and operated exclusively in the United Kingdom. His confections were relatively unknown to the rest of the world, outside of a handful of imports from enthusiasts. Gene Beauregarde and his treats spent decades being loved by the British, and vintage products with his branding still exist with collectors and antique shops in the area.

Starting in 1970, Gene Beauregarde made plans to take his business worldwide, preparing to open candy factories on other continents. A massive marketing blitz ensued, and Gene worked tirelessly on candy production and on new, experimental treats. In an effort to make the tastiest treats possible, Gene begins infusing his dragon magic into his recipes.

Gene conceptualizes the  “Candy Kobolds”, adorable small dragon-shaped gummy candies, each with a pair of candy corn horns, and a chalky candy heart inside their chest. However, Gene does not have enough money or resources to mass-produce this product yet, and seeks help from investors.

Gene received money from investors around the world, including a sizeable amount from Grey Faux - a world-famous men’s fashion designer. Gene and Grey had a friendly relationship, and Gene would commission dapper outfits from Grey Faux.

On one fateful evening, Gene invited his 5 biggest investors to a private dinner to celebrate the upcoming opening of his new candy factories. Gene serves a new, experimental blueberry-flavoured candy to his investors - a softly-glowing blue sphere full of sugar, berry juice, Colourgen and dragon magic. The investors ate the candy, and Gene could only watch in horror as his investors accidentally transformed into large blue orbs full of berry juice! This “blueberry-fication” sent the 5 investors to the hospital, with the strange spectacle being broadcast on news stations around the world.

Grey Faux was one of Gene’s victims, and was Gene’s most vocal critic. Grey used his billions of dollars and status to try to prosecute Gene and tarnish his reputation. Grey convinces the public that Gene is a sadistic murderer and would poison children with his strange candy. Gene Beauregarde is branded as a criminal, and Gene flees from public life, now running from the law. The effects of Grey Faux’s propaganda still exists in the present day, and Gene is the reason why parents check their kid’s treat bags on Halloween.

Gene becomes nomadic, living out of abandoned buildings and caves. Using the last scraps of confection-making materials, dragon magic, and his own life force, Gene creates his Candy Kobolds. However, these dragon-shaped gummies are now alive and do Gene’s bidding. For decades, Gene operates his candy-making company in secrecy, relying on the labor of his loyal army of Candy Kobold workers. Gene receives money from mugging and murdering trespassers, shady business transactions, and Candy Kobold crimes.

In 1985, the Ella Pawman Squad tracks down Gene Beauregarde in Germany. Ella Pawman, Madison Waltz and Dr. Hans Sans Panzer try to arrest Gene, but the group is forced to retreat after Madison is tricked into eating Gene’s strange blueberry candy, almost dying from the “blueberry-ification” effects. With Madison incapacitated, Gene manages to escape from the group. He goes into hiding again, but Candy Kobold sightings are still being reported worldwide.

Shortly into the new millennium, Gene discovers a internet message board called “ExpansionMansion.toon” (or “EMT” for short). Users of this message board are utterly obsessed with Gene and his strange blueberry candy. These fans not only want to meet Gene, but would pay a lot of money to experience the “blueberry-ification” effects from his most infamous candy. Gene appreciates these fans so much that he will occasionally contact them using his Candy Kobolds. Gene will treat his obsessive fans to his strange confections… for a steep price.

Gene Beauregarde has still not seen justice under the Ella Pawman Squad or Jaycee Pawman Squad. However, Gene is obsessively tracked by JPS Senior Agent Bluey DeLobb. Bluey is a prominent poster on the EMT message board and posts under the username “Bubble_Blob”. Gene is very flattered by the amount of attention he receives from this poster and wishes to meet him.

After all these years, Gene still hates Grey Faux immensely, and often thinks of cruel and unusual punishments for him. However, Gene has odd, unconscious romantic feelings for Grey that he will never admit to anyone, not even himself.

🔞 Kink Material

🚫 If you are under 18, do not draw or interact with this character in kink-related contexts!

⚠️ This section is optional material and is not imperative to this character's biography. It contains text relating to the “WG”, “FA”, "Feeding" and “Blueberry” kinks. Only click the spoiler if you want to read about this.

Gene Beauregarde is an anatomically-correct adult male dragon. He does not like romantic relationships, cuddling, kissing, sex or nakedness.

Gene is a dominant feeder, with a preference for submissive gainers. Gene loves to be in a powerful position while force feeding a victim as “punishment”. The gender of the victim doesn’t matter. Gene only gains weight or expands himself in private when testing his creations. No matter what size he gets to, Gene's clothes ALWAYS stretch to accommodate his body and remain totally intact.

Gene force-feeds victims using experimental, volatile confections of his own creation. These treats are created with powerful dragon magic and a regenerative, rainbow-coloured fluid called “Colourgen” that is unique to the Tooniverse. These desserts are part of Gene’s “Secret Menu” and are never sold or given to the public like his normal treats.

🎫 Gene’s “Secret Menu”:

  • 🔵 Blueberry Candy: Gene’s favourite and most (in)famous creation! This is a round, blueberry-flavoured candy packed with an enormous amount of juice. Anyone who consumes this candy quickly turns blue, and has their body expand into a round, juice-filled orb resembling a blueberry. At maximum “blueberry-ification”, the consumer is a helpless blue sphere, only able to wiggle their limbs. At this stage, they are prone to explode and must be massaged and squeezed carefully to extract the juice. The transformation effects of this candy are so powerful that some are left with permanent changes on their body after eating it, such as blue-tinted eyes, skin or hair.
  • 🫧 Purple Burple Soda: This is an extremely bubbly, helium-infused purple-coloured drink. Drinkers of this soda quickly swell up into a sphere filled with carbonated gas, floating into the air. Drinkers are prone to pop at maximum size. Those with gastrointestinal issues should avoid this drink as it can cause uncontrollable gas out of either end.
  • 🍫 Chocolate Fountain: Gene’s factory has a flowing river of chocolate, controlled by a series of pumps and pipes. Anyone who continuously drinks this chocolate will be fattened up into an enormous blob. This chocolate also makes the drinker experience extreme euphoria, followed by extreme  tiredness.
  • 🍦 Dragon Cream: This treat is only available on special request, and is almost never given to anyone due to its rarity. This is a thick, white sugary cream said to be one of the most delicious desserts imaginable. It is also extremely fattening, even in small doses. This cream is securely kept in refrigerated glass bottles, with Gene being secretive of it’s recipe.

All of Gene’s victims are trespassers in his factories, or “Special Customers” who give consent to be force-fed by him. Gene’s “Special Customers” are stalker-level adult super-fans of his fattening and expansive treats on the “Secret Menu”. These fans post obsessively on an Internet forum called  “ExpansionMansion.toon” (“EMT” for short). Gene enjoys the attention and income from these clients. However, because Gene is a criminal, he and his clients have to meet secretly. Gene occasionally invites these clients with Golden Tickets that include an address to a secret factory location. Gene loves invited guests and will entertain and feed his guests with their preferred treats. While not ideal, Gene is amused by uninvited guests, and watches them as they try to avoid the traps and Candy Kobolds in his factory. He punishes all trespassers with cartoony candy-related punishments.
