Since she emerged, Moss Agate was a truly patient, calm, protective and supportive individual. While these attributes were unsuitable for a standard agate job, it made her a brilliant candidate for working on outposts with higher ranking gems. Moss was quickly assigned as a space station manager for golden beryls and heliodors where she remains even today.
She makes sure the small station stays in a good shape, accepts missions, provides a good service etc. However, by far her most important job is to take care of her beryl wards, such as insuring they feel comfortable, occasionally train their piloting skills and socialize.
Even though one would say Agate's personality seems incompatible with energetic heliodors, she in fact has a great relationship with all of them. Her motherly protectiveness makes her care about each of them very deeply. Maybe too much for her own good...
The unfortunate reality of any military gems is, of course, the fact their end can come anytime. Over the thousand years of her existence, not only Moss had to replace many of them, but also personally witness harvesting of those who lost their heliodor partner. In these cases, all she can do is to hold her tears, caringly smile and hide the scars growing on her back anytime she has to say another goodbye...

Despite her occasional visits, Heli no longer permanently lives in our station. She prefers to be with her other friends or on her own now, which is... More than understandable. I am thankful she found happiness regardless of everything what happened. Now, if it wasn't clear what I'm trying to say by this- If anybody DARES to touch her again, they gonna have to deal with MY fury first.

Zircon
I'll be forever grateful she took care of Heli while I couldn't. It's nice to see that even among zircons there are individuals who treat others with pure kindness and respect. Heli seems to be especially a big fan of hers, almost anytime she visits she takes Zircon with her.
Elbaite
I don't know much about her, but she was another brave soul willing to help Heli home. In fact, Elbaite once informed me Heli was added under a general protection order given by their new garnet. Glad to know more gems are looking after her.
THE Hessonite
Hessonite fell from her glory. She knew very well none of my starlights had to join the fight. The more I read 1XY's old letters, the clearer it is Hessonite originally invited them for personal amusement. Like if they were spinels-! DOES SHE FIND UNNECESSARY CASUALTIES FUNNY?! BECAUSE I. DO. NOT.!!!
