Blake has been a monster for longer than he can remember. He has no memory of his past life and any knowledge of a world outside of the Blood Rings, but he knows his only chance of survival is to fight and to kill. 

In a twist of fate, the young warrior's battle prowess catches the attention of Nathaniel von Stein, a prominent pureblood noble of the Crimson Circle, the inner council of the ruling vampire race. Blake is bought out of the Rings and assigned as a bodyguard to Nathaniel's young son, Jules, who has just recently come of age and inherited territory of his own to rule. 

Drawn to the fair-skinned youth and his strangely tantalizing scent, Blake struggles between protecting Jules from bloodthirsty rogues and keeping his own desires in check. As Blake ventures deeper into the high society of vampires with Jules, he finds himself entangled in circumstances more dangerous than he could have ever imagined. The gears of revolution are in motion, and a single secret uncovered could tear the rule of the vampires apart from within.

A semi slice of life story about Leo, a tired college student plus reluctant part-time monster hunter, who finds himself becoming roommates with a monster. Being reluctant to kill monsters, he becomes involved into all kinds of hijinks as he tries to help supernatural creatures solve their problems so that they can finally leave him alone.
