Another limited palette pixie. Also lacking a good use of values and just muddies together into an orange glob. Up close, the details in the slightly transparent wings can be seen, but that's an example of "more doesn't equal better."
"A lot of those in the village pride themselves on the colors of their wings. This one has many colors and seems very vain... Cammy said she can change the colors of two of her companions to be 'better'... I wonder if she could do the same for me...?"
"The worst person I've met on campus and he doesn't even attend the school--he was just hung over in one of the flowerbeds! Liam always knows where the party is at, though, so he can be cool on rare occasions..."
"Deli's kindness is unmeasurable. One time when we visited the two of them at the Conveniently Convenient store, Deli offered us a free hot dog. Everyone accepted it carefree, but I just couldn't. I offered under the table to pay for all their hotdogs. Deli couldn't accept MY kindness. That's incorrect. I had to explain to him just how much profit could be lost just over a few hotdogs. He zoned out. But he left the register open, so I slipped in a 5 and we left. He was still dazed."
"Krav was my first boyfriend and my best friend. He was pretty lame as a bf, but I'm glad he's still hanging around with me. He should probably cool it with his simping before he gets really hurt. But he knows self-defense, so maybe he's fine...?"
"Deli is a real one. My home slice through high school. Kinda dated, kinda undated. We're still the homiest of homes. Or homiest of homos. HA! Dunno what either of us are gonna do next now that we're done with high school. I kinda just, like, took a break to...play games..."
"Cammy is far too trusting of others... I care about them very much and I fear that they may get themselves into some trouble if they don't become more cautious in the future... I only hope this human they've befriended is as harmless as they claim..."
"Enoki! There's a big, beautiful world out there full of big, beautiful creatures. We won't know what friends we'll make if we don't say "Hello!" So let's say "Hello," and ask the Orcs if they can protect our village."
Jackson first met Mateo when he tried to steal from him. To his surprise, the professor offered him a place to stay instead of calling the cops! A place to stay? With a cutie like him? Who cares if that was a trap for the cops, Jackson would gladly give himself up for even a few seconds alone with that beauty!!
Jackson's attempt to steal from Mateo went sideways when the professor noticed a hand in his back pocket and another on his other one. Assuming Jackson stole out of necessity and not just for kicks, Mateo warmly welcomed Jackson into his home to use any time he needs. With the spare key at his disposal, Jackson is often in and out of the place without warning. Still, Mateo is oblivious to the fact that the man is using his warm hospitality to his advantage and also the unending flirting.
Glen had heard of a new professor, but he didn't expect him to be right next to his office, or to be as loud and energetic as he is. For someone as silent and tired as the math professor, this is trouble. Mateo is ALWAYS trying to spend time with him no matter where he hides. Eventually, Glen allowed it. Maybe he's too tired to avoid him anymore. Or maybe it's something else...?
Glen is Mateo's office neighbor and nearly the exact opposite of him in personality. Despite their vast differences, Mateo still tries his best to befriend and spend time with Glen. He wholeheartedly believes that Glen actually enjoys his company deep, deep, deep down under his apathetic shell. It could just be wishful thinking and maybe a slight crush on the math professor, though.
Studying writing, it's only natural for Owen to take Mateo's class. He enjoys the prompts he's given for writing assignments, it fuels his creative mind and allows him to bring life to the many ideas he has. Perhaps that's why Mateo takes an interest to him, because of his incredible writing abilities?
Owen is a student in a few of Mateo's classes. After reading one particularly dark homework submission in his creative writing course from Owen, Mateo became a bit concerned for him. Mateo will often go out of his way to greet Owen when he sees him around campus, having conversations with him about his future plans and passions. Owen has become the closest thing Mateo has had to having a son.
