This year Anathema celebrated the holiday cheer by organizing a Secret Santa, to give and receive gifts made with love by Anathema’s players. Everyone who completed a Secret Santa gift could claim double gold on the gift as well as a +10 Gold bonus.

The Harvest Masquerade is over, spirits have been chased off (or not) and the prompts have wrapped up on 2 January 2022. All mage participants could find their stat rewards here. All prompts also got double gold!

Lore Drive has ended 9 January 2022, and voting started 15 January, ending January 21. The winners of the lore event were (drumroll): MisMantis, GoId and mercuriel-art!
All winners received one mysterious Ley-Token, a new item which will be exchanged for rare goods at Anathema's forthcoming new shop: the Ley Lodge. Each token can only be spent once, and will be recorded forever in Anathema's Bank. They can be used to create fantastic new types of characters. It will open during Anathema’s birthday celebration in March.
There has been an update to the rule to raffles in our discord server. If you'd like to enter any of the raffles in events, you must have completed an intro in our introductions channel.

It’s almost Valentine’s Day and love is in the air! From 10-02-2022 to 28-02-2022 receive double gold on art or writing featuring multiple Anathema characters. At least one of the featured characters must belong to another player besides yourself. This bonus does not stack on other prompts (including shrine quests) nor collaborations or roleplay threads.
The art does not have to be romantic for Valentine's Day related. It just has to feature two or more characters together. Spread the love!

Every month, we will provide a brief narrative prompt, with four potential choices for your character to make. Draw or write your character's choice, and receive double gold for your response! Mages will earn a mystery stat point based on their choices, which will be revealed with the next month's prompt.
Prompt responses should tag this profile, and must be worth at least 1 gold of art or writing. Collaborations and roleplay are not valid responses to the monthly Story Prompt.

🔸 February 2022 Story Prompt:
Your character is in town when the business on the normally quiet street grows unruly around them. Suddenly, they find themselves pushing through throngs of distracted pedestrians, and jostled as the crowd parts to allow passage for a vehicle. The wagon, which seems to be the center of the sudden commotion, is piloted by a white-collared Witchfinder. The iron bars that make up the wagon's side barely reveal its cargo: another group of suspected Hidden Mages, on their way to Namarast for trial.
As your character turns away from the scene to continue their business, a face in the crowd catches their eye. Inches away is a stranger whom your character recognizes from WANTED posters all over the city. Your character remembers these posters listing a hefty reward for the fugitive, whose crimes include the unlawful teaching of magic. For a moment, the criminal is frozen while recognition floods your character's face.
When the criminal turns to run in the opposite direction of the Witchfinder's wagon, what does your character do?
Prompt responses must be worth at least 1 gold (i.e. at least 100 words or at least an uncolored headshot).
Upload your response like any other art or literature submission, tag this character profile, and claim your gold; collect double your total count for prompt responses. Responses to this prompt should be done individually, one character per response.
