- Update to the browse page
- Previously:
- The browse page would only use your front page settings if you clicked “Browse” from the front page (eg. it would just show default settings if you accessed the page from the navbar and you would have to change your settings every time)
- Updated version:
- The browse page now has it’s own configuration which you can save via the icon at the top right of the Browse page, and will remain permanently
- These settings are separate from the front page and for each individual browse page (eg. feed, popular, recent)
- This means that you’ll have to set your configurations for each browse page individually, but also means you can set different options for each page
- Let me know if you have any suggestions or feedback, or if this feels awkward ^^
- Update to front/browse page filters
- It’s now possible to hide trade listings on both the front and browse pages
- It’s now possible to show only trade listings
- Mass manager:
- Category updating has now been added to the mass manager, thanks for the suggestion! Pinky lonelysaturn nightlustrous Sorry to everyone who already did this for each individual profile 🙇
- Bug fixes
- You should now be able to search by hitting enter on the search page again
- Tags will now search as expected even if not turned into a tag block
- Search by price range should now be fixed, hopefully properly this time!! But let me know if there’s still any strange behaviours here
- The weird bottom margin on the character selector should now be fixed
- Search by most expensive / least expensive went missing in the update and has now been restored!
Thank you everyone for the feedback, am still sitting on the rest of the ideas to think about how we should approach this; particularly with the trade listings / category suggestions, we’ll likely wait a few days before making any changes.
On the fence about the idea of adding an “Other” category, primarily because I'm worried it may encourage spam, but if it’s a separated category I suppose there’s nothing stopping people from just filtering it 🤔
With regards to the trade listing options, it sounds like what we’d like is:
- Separate “Trade” into “Trade (Character)” and “Trade (Art)”
- Add a “F2E” option as a compromise between the Games/Contest and Freebie listings
- I'm hoping that the option to hide trade listings completely from the browse pages will handle the complaints regarding F2E raffles (the main reason is because I don't want to make the control panel UI too complicated by adding an option to filter specific trade listings), but if we have a large number of people who'd like to specifically hide F2E raffles I can look into this as an option
