I'd love a space where I could talk with others about the characters we're working on as we work on them. So, here's this topic! It should be fun to bounce ideas off each other before things are set in stone. (You could also discuss setting details, probably.)
Right now, I'm playing around with Selda and the other characters in her story/world (they're not uploaded yet, but I'll try and stamp out the details on them soon). The tricky part is figuring out where/how to include and explain the more obscure elements of her setting (WTF is a Leyaloid or a Cross-Ley? uhhhh you might wanna sit down, we could be here for a while if you want all the details). Getting her personality down is also kind of tricky, because I'm not sure how best to describe her. I think I got her right in the blurb, but watch as I RP her and she goes on to act completely different...

i’m working on daisuke right here! a lot of his story content is outdated, so i rewrote his entire character summary and plan to write a lore summary for his plot soon (it’s just a pain because the story is an alternative history based on spy fiction and irl espionage so it’s a lot of research from dense textbooks 😭)

I'm working on Dreams/Cassi. She started out as a fursona just for a minecraft server I played on (I was planning on drawing everyone as furries and making comics) but she morphed into my full fursona, and now I don't know what to do for her background. Most of my OCs exist in a universe very similar to ours, where furries just exist as humans do. I'm still working on deciding if/how ferals will exist. If anyone wants to take a poke at Dream, feel free!
I’m focusing on Vex and side characters in her world / story, but more specifically backstories and general information about the species and their world. I ran across some info I wrote a few years ago and it’s kind of awful so lately I’ve been writing down notes and little tidbits I’d like to change so that I can eventually rewrite everything more coherently.
Also lowkey working on my other main character C.J. but moreso design-wise.
currently i am working on this gal, i am in the process of making a full ref sheet for her and i am also working on her backstory.
He’s the one that needs the most work, rest of my lads got some arcs done of working on arch’s. He hasn’t got a complete back story or story planned yet BRBDHSHS. Also doesn’t have any sorta body ref lmao
He has so mch story and backgorund and science and I need to write it all down and figure out what happens when and how it freaking affects his timelines and when was the prime esme timeline compared to the burned esme timeline and when did he make an attempt on Subject esme's life or how many times. Also what the hecc is going on with him and Jindyl. It's crazy.

There is no problem with his story, but even tho it's still fast, progressively and fluidly getting formed thanks to the activity to his other story companion

But what I'm mainly working on him is starting to do more content of him and also doing his toyhouse profile which is pending
He's always been a WIP. My oldest OC, since I was around 13-14 or so. He's got that 'edgy past' that I need to fix and a lot of cringe. I am still trying to write everything in a not bullet point for him.

Currently working on him, or at least trying to. Recently uploaded him because I finally got around to writing some basic stuff for him, but I have so many ideas.
He's my muse, my mascot, my everything, as I've always wanted a character like him, and oddly enough, I haven't given much thought on his backstory... Maybe I'm just unsure of what to do and I'm afraid of making it too generic, because I want him to feel unique and such.
