I'd love a space where I could talk with others about the characters we're working on as we work on them. So, here's this topic! It should be fun to bounce ideas off each other before things are set in stone. (You could also discuss setting details, probably.)
Right now, I'm playing around with Selda and the other characters in her story/world (they're not uploaded yet, but I'll try and stamp out the details on them soon). The tricky part is figuring out where/how to include and explain the more obscure elements of her setting (WTF is a Leyaloid or a Cross-Ley? uhhhh you might wanna sit down, we could be here for a while if you want all the details). Getting her personality down is also kind of tricky, because I'm not sure how best to describe her. I think I got her right in the blurb, but watch as I RP her and she goes on to act completely different...

I've got a couple characters I plan to transfer to here. One's this... huge mess lmao. Everything about him was constructed in an RP so it's a matter of me writing his bio without sounded mega edgy. Then I've got a fun killer to add. I just have to start his profile, which shouldn't be too hard. Otherwise, I just need to get art for both of them and they'll be ready .w.
Selda sounds really cool! Their world sounds like it's got the potential to be really fascinating.

I'm working on my rabbit Llyr! (Picture added because I took his profile down to set up the HTML.) He's kind of a looks-like-Fitzgerald-smokes-like-Hemmingway type. He throws people off because they come up to him expecting uwu and instead they this chimney of a boy squinting grimly over their shoulders like he's about to announce a death in the family. I also need to make his best friend. Then I need to upload one of Jamie's friends, this kid named Sasha who lives under a sketchy bar and has an uncannily terrible sense of judgement.
It's just, like... My boi is so adorable and nice, but his entire backstory is nothing but cringe and it's like trying to put out a fire with gasoline lmao rip

Someone say something about killers being fun to write?? B^) My friends and I were talking about Star Wars which led me to concoct arguably one of my meanest OCs... But he's still a new baby character with a lot of questions left unanswered.

In short: all of them, basically. I haven't really started any profiles or images yet because I wanted to make sure I was done changing stuff and clearing out old characters before I started. Now I don't know where to start because I'm so bad at writing profiles, lol. I like writing characters in action, not so much profiles for them. So I'm a little overwhelmed.
I'm currently working on... multiple characters, but I guess my main focus is Henri, Nicholas, Dekartes and Merle (the latter one doesn't have a profile yet) since they're all part of the same story! It's only just some dumb shenanigans and not actually a story I'll be serious about (as Dekartes is an adopted character so I have to keep it casual), but I enjoy these characters and their interactions nevertheless.
Also I live for intentionally edgy content like there is nothing better than being honest-to-god self indulgent with your OCs. Henri was created just so I could play with werewolf tropes AND so I could give SOMEONE that stereotypial pageboy hair lmao

@Nintendofancs OC revamps are SO SATISFYING. I think one of my biggest revamp motivations is immediately seeing improvement, so def keep the older stuff around for reference.
pom devyn's design is such a LOOK aw yeeesss. I'm gonna read over the stuff you have on Coda more in-depth when I have the chance. Hope you come to some decisions about his personality soon though; its so nice when things click.
