I'm trying to figure out a story for these kids (despite how together the folder description is, I have no clue what I'm doing and may scrap the concept listed and try a different story) and I'm working on worldbuilding for these kiddos which is going a lot smoother! I might even be done with the basic lore in a day or two, usually it takes me a lot longer.
I'd love a space where I could talk with others about the characters we're working on as we work on them. So, here's this topic! It should be fun to bounce ideas off each other before things are set in stone. (You could also discuss setting details, probably.)
Right now, I'm playing around with Selda and the other characters in her story/world (they're not uploaded yet, but I'll try and stamp out the details on them soon). The tricky part is figuring out where/how to include and explain the more obscure elements of her setting (WTF is a Leyaloid or a Cross-Ley? uhhhh you might wanna sit down, we could be here for a while if you want all the details). Getting her personality down is also kind of tricky, because I'm not sure how best to describe her. I think I got her right in the blurb, but watch as I RP her and she goes on to act completely different...

I'm currently working on a story and comic for Luthic. Although I need a few more characters for her story aa. I'm just too lazy to draw them lol.
I'm doing some work on my Confictionery! series and line of characters, who are in this folder! I have had the most concrete ideas for it, so I'm redoing a bunch of art for the characters and planning to add a lot of new ones!

Check out my kid Sasha, I love him. He's an #edgy teenager who yells nonstop and is desperately in love with Gerard Way. He has really bad sensory issues and PTSD and compensates by just being extremely loud and abrasive so everything feels duller in comparison to himself.
Seiden That sounds really interesting! My French isn't fantastic, but I got a little ways into his personality and he seems really cool.

But neither designs feel like they fit into his context (slightly futuristic/modern fantasy) & they they have to fit his clothes his wings & stuff (hence the weird cutouts & fastenings) which really limits things?? ahshdflah he's a mess
These ocs are a new concept of mine that I've been wanting to make for a while. Unlike my other ocs these guys are in a futuristic setting. There is one named Lloyd and he's an android, and the other guy is named Yuros and he's a detective and works with the police (he's also a human lol). There's gonna be one more character added eventually, and it would be a female human. Her name is Skye and she'll come from a wealthy / well known family but she doesn't want that life because it feels stifling to her. She'll run away from it and hide out in red district part of the city and live there and work in a bar.
I also have this batch of ocs that are set in the past as well XD They're more fleshed out character wise but their ..."story" as a whole is still developing. ^^

I have been working a bit more on Cyrus again lately! I mean I have a really good idea of him but I like to think about him as an adult and what kind of things he does and what kind of father he will be (hint: embarrassing loser dad, just how I like my dads). I'm really pleased with myself for giving Cyrus hasty future plans (playing the piano for trade) he ends up switching to entirely different things (he becomes a town doctor as an adult): I find it important to remind myself not everyone knows their career in the middle school and sometimes life makes people's dreams change. Funnily though Cyrus has always been good at nursing and whatnot, following his nurse mother everywhere and learning from her how to tend wounds and stuff. Also, due to his own physical condition I like to think he starts feeling more passionate about helping people and doing his best to bring comfort to people's pain.
Also it feels bizarre to think about him building a family eventually and having a child lol... I like to imagine that when he finally announces he is a father to his friends none of them are actually believing it or even believing Cyrus has a partner lmao and they're so shocked to realize he isn't lying! His family life is gonna be a little weird though since his future partner is from the demon realm and the child doesn't end up looking quite human either. It's mostly a matter of hiding wings though so it could be worse, at least the kid isn't half werewolf or something haha.
Im sad because im always trying to develop all of them?? Thats why i have only a couple of ocs. I try my best to make a nice backhistory and an interesting personality for all of them (and i tend to be a bit realistic)
But english is not my first language as you can see, so i almost die trying to write everything i made out about them in this site (even though that not even in my first language i do it right because im way too lazy)
But right now im trying to develop two characters: Clementine and Jacob (that i havent posted here yet). Im making kind of a good progress with clementine, but her backstory still kinda messy for me. And jacob im adding new things little by little, he is one of my oldest characters but i still cant make nothing good for my albino boy fuck, but for now i decided that he is deaf and from finland.
Oh, and i almost forgot that im also working on luena's backstory!! I really love her but her story still looks so poor... but i dont have any ideas of what i should do :^( she is happy and rich until she travels to russia seeking for her dream to become a professional dancer... aaaaaaaaaaaaaa
