im new so im looking for some ppl to follow and one thing i rly like is androgynous characters. i feel that there should be more androgynous characters in media

i actually have quite a few but ive listed my character clover in this thread (bc they are my most popular)

feminine-or-masculine-leaning counts as well as right in the middle. i myself am androg and i think its different from being nb but im down to see some nb characters as well

Xaanik Aarix

Xaanik's supposed to be really androgynous, though I'm not sure how successful I am at portraying it. Like, he's super buff & his facial features make him look more masculine but his waist/hips/thighs (& maybe his chest to an extent?) and the way he carries himself make for a really feminine silhouette. Also his voice is more feminine than masculine but I guess that doesn't really come into the visual aesthetic haha

hedgemaze

My most androgynous character is Happy, I think. She's tiny but otherwise doesn't look particularly feminine.

I don't know if I would describe Ryleagh as androgynous, but she's genderfluid and presents both feminine and masculine at different times.

I guess Loki is kind of androgynous?

And Hannah is nonbinary but feminine in presentation.

Kali Evans Returnofmorningstar

I'd say Kali is pretty androgynous. They're nonbinary and don't really lean towards one side or the other. Though in their outfits they aren't binding, so it's more noticeable.

Bruisedfruit

Vernon <3 everyone always assumes shes male, and they have no reason to think otherwise haha ~

She has a flat chest , hips with a slight curve, and antlers that normally are only possessed by bucks in most species of deer. She's based off of myself, or at least younger me. ( I had much shorter hair than most girls, and it had been styled in a boy's manner.)

BlankStorefront

I'll admit, not all my characters are up here/have presentable pages, but most of the characters I make are on the androgynous side in terms of design, so I'll just pick like. The ones who are most that I have up?

Oliv is probably my most androgynous and they're also neutrois. I don't even really have anything to add about this, haha!
I feel like Mal is also up there! He's masc-aligned nb, but in general he's just. Short and soft. He'll also wear a decent range of clothing styles.

Fay sleepygengar

my local forest guide and their crow here lmao

Merrill Labelle Caine

I inhabit this thread way more than I should and I'm... so sorry

Anyway Merrill was designed to look androgynous and their gender is a mystery even to me and that's apparently how things are just going to be. I also have Omarion who honestly tips on the side of looking a tad more femnine than androgynous but I guess it's also a matter of like... who you ask

 Camille💋 iouquie

Camille looks extremely feminine and in addition to that, his red lipstick makes this impression stronger.

In addition to that, Camille is a unisex name so it's given to both males and females.

Lafayette CLAnemone

I think out of all my characters, Lafayette’s got to be the most androgynous. Hell,, idk if they’re actually gonna be female or Male, I might just keep them that way. xD

Paper God Ladsnarts

Though Paper God is a hermaphrodite/ intersex, they are mostly androgynous in the fact that they will wear or go by anything. they do lean and go more by male pronouns and male roles, like father and grandfather, but that is mostly for convenience. Looks wise he can pull off anything, the bald and one eye look I feel helps with that.

Niiero

I made this new bab about a day ago and I also consider Elyas to be androgynous

Cassey is actually nonbinary but they can also pass as androgynous

Penelope Fursecution

Pen here is pretty androgynous, mostly on purpose to represent her chaotic nature. She's a pretty cool cat.

Abelietum cosmicconundrum

this is abelietum, who is androgynous because she is a member of a supernatural/cosmic race of beings responsible for controlling the passing of time and history.
