Ask a question to the above person's OC

Posted 7 years, 7 months ago (Edited 6 years, 10 months ago) by Amvira varkarrus

So it'll go like this: A person posts a question to the above user's OC. Then, after a new person posts a question, the first person edits their post to have an answer.

Something like

Person A: (posts a question to the above person)

Person B: Does (person A) like cupcakes?

then Person A edits their post so it's like

Person A: (posts a question to the above person)
I do like cupcakes!

Person B: Does (person A) like cupcakes?

Person C: Could (person B) defeat Goku in a fight?

then

Person A: (posts a question to the above person)
I do like cupcakes!

Person B: Does (person A) like cupcakes?
No, I absolutely could not take Goku on in a fight, have you seen that guy?

Person C: Could (person B) defeat Goku in a fight?

EDIT: Try and ask questions that lead to the development of characters!

EDIT2: Cant believe this needs to be said, but make your posts legible!!!!

EDIT3: Also. Read the person's profile before you ask a question!
Follow these rules or I'll implement a banlist!

I'll edit this post to include a response to the next person's question, once somebody posts!

(re: "Do you enjoy sitting in a garden to relax?")
"A garden? Pfeh! What kind of pansy-ass garbage is that? Lemme tell you how I relax! A warm, musty couch, some snacks, and video games! Hah!" ((But to be honest, she might enjoy just lounging around under a tree on a hot day))

Q: "Your fashion sense is.. striking, to say the least. Do you take after someone else, or is it entirely your own style?"

(ooc sidenote: god i wish i could pull off wearing stuff like that, im highkey jealous of her outfit)

A: "I write quite often, though that's mostly for my research documents.. I do write in a diary when I have the time, if I can find anything to write about, that is - sometimes, I even write poems and the like. I've always found creative writing to be quite relaxing."

Lance GrayDeering

"Bottling up your emotions is hard work. I would know. Do you have a specific outlet for your emotions since you're closed off? Maybe you write?"

"In a sense, I don't actively want to remember the pain. It's the lessons that come with them. Quite frankly, nothing is a more persuasive teacher than a broken heart or the crack of a whip. But no one wants to feel them. So maybe by remembering, I won't have to feel the same pain twice. I'll know better."

Buddy Dohmalore

"Why do you try so hard to make sure you remember your pain?  Wouldn't it feel better to forget it?  Or at least let it fade a little..."

Well he blames himself for it because(as it says in his profile): He was distracting Hector from driving, just being a jealous little brat about Hector spending so much time away from him in favor of his girlfriend.  There's also survivor's guilt, and as irrational as it is he blames the fact that he's demonblooded that something bad happened.

Hector was kinda just a stoner but he was chill & loved his family and friends openly.  He didn't mind Buddy wanting to be around him all the time and wasn't really phased by Buddy's weirdness(he was more likely to laugh and then explain things to Buddy rather than just get uncomfortable about it and tell him to shut the hell up like most people).

Buddy fuckin LOVED Hector, he was very much a beloved/idolized older sibling figure who could do no wrong in Buddy's eyes.

"Why are you so against using magic? It seems like it would be cool to be able to use magic."

"oh, that's easy! I love space because of how beautiful it is! The stars that shine at night, the constellations they make, the beautiful planets that exist around us, even galaxies with gorgeous colors! As for where I'm from, I'd like to say Earth, but I'm not positive."

 Uriel Dianxia

"May I ask why you like space? And, where exactly are you from?"

Kazuo konachelona

"Hey-- Hello there?" He's not sure if this bunny-eared, halo'd kid even noticed him. Then again, Kazuo's inadvertently done the same thing to others - thanks to his hearing issues. "Aura, is it? That's a lovely outfit you've got there. The pink is nice, it reminds me of cherry blossoms. I was wondering, do you have any particular hobbies? And, do you find being around humans difficult? Apologies for my bluntness, but you do stand out quite a bit .. " Kazuo doesn't seem fazed by - or interested in - Aura's mysterious eyepatch.

"Oh, this?" The item in question materializes before Adrian's eyes. It doesn't fade into existence, it just .. appears. Kazuo wasn't holding it a moment ago, but now he is. "That's a good question. The ha-uchiwa is sacred to us tengu, as you can probably imagine. With our fans, we can defend ourselves, cast spells, and channel the wind. In fact, for certain chosen tengu, their life's duty is to serve the wind god Fujin-sama." ...Kazuo doesn't remember when or how he got his fan, lmao. Might as well fake it 'til he makes it. "This fan was bestowed upon me when I was around 12 or 13, I believe? Um .. Just about every adolescent tengu is given one, unless they're destined for something that doesn't require it. I think. Initially, one can only summon a slight draft with their ha-uchiwa, but through years of training it's possible to generate destructive, hurricane-force winds."

Adrian Kuzuryu HowlingCat

"Ah! A Tengu? I never encounter your kind in Distortionis. Amusing considering I seen  a fire creature with a pumpkin for a head and a strange creature that looks like a comma.." Adrian eyed Kazuo. His bright eyes seemed to glow in delight of watching the other. "...Ah yes. Question. I should ask one. Whoops. I was curious about your ha-uchiwa. Where did you get it? I'm not too familiar with the lore behind how Tengu receive their ha-uchiwa."

Adrian couldn't help but quirk his brow at the first 'question'. He felt like that a reference to something but he wasn't sure what. He deicded to ignore that and focus on the next question. "Intoxiated when fighting? I believe that happened a couple of times. It usually comes down to the shadow that can induce that effect naturally. It's not exactly fun since it does lead to some...interesting moments." He made a face. "Can alcohol make my personas drunk? Yes. My Personas are bound to me so that makes sense. I mean we feel the same pain, emotions and so forth. It's really annoying."

(If that was a reference of what I think it is, I gotta give you a applause for that one)

Nicolás Loupohl PicklePantry

"Persona, huh? Are you, heh... getting in the mood for dancing?
On a serious note, have you ever been intoxicated when fighting? Does alcohol make your Personas drunk too?"

"I try to hide my obsession from them, but you can only get mailed so many Japanese imports until they begin to wonder. As far as I know, they're not disturbed by it, thankfully. Sometimes they'll try to be supportive, but I can tell they don't get any of it. My half-brother, though, it very supportive and enthusiastic about it. He'll help me with cosplaying and cheer me on whenever I'm drawing. I'm just lucky my family's nice and kind about it."

Naria Kaneko YunaNoire

"So uh... how does your Dad and... well, your other Dad, feel about your anime stuff? Do you try to cover that sort of thing up from them?"

"Isn't it normal to want that...? If anything, I guess i'm jealous. I saw my sisters being praised so much when I was growing up. They'd consistently be showered with love and approval because they were good at what they did. I wanted that more than anything. Now... I guess it's kind of become a part of me, huh?"

kirakiraprince

(Using my profile pic character)

"It's really cool that you're able to do all that stuff with demons and such, but why do you crave your parents' approval so much?"

Edit: "Oh my gosh, thank you! I did make the skirt with some fabric I found, but I don't know where my top or jacket came from." He laughs softly. "Things seem to come and go all the time, but this is my favorite outfit I have. I usually go for a mixture of things I like and comfort! I don't really want to wear something that's cute and the texture of a potato sack or looks bad and feels like a could. Bonus points if it has a certain functionality!"

 Day Princess-TF-ofAzurel

"I really like your get-up, dude!" Day smiles, admiring his clothing. "Did you make any of it yourself? And... Do you wear what you wear because it's comfortable? or just because you like it?"

--------

Day looks around herself to her rear and flicks her three tails lightly and shrugs, "my tails don't really bother me. And they tend to come in handy from time to time. When I'm in a sticky situation, I can use them like whips to stun or trip my attacker. I've done it a couple times..." she walks over to a mirror and frowns a little as she touches her horn, "my horn, however... I wouldn't mind if it went away forever... When I was a kid I thought it was cool, and I thought I was a Unicorn for the longest time- but Grandma had to explain that because of my great grandpa, my grandpa has demon blood, and so did my father, and when it got to me, something mutated, while the rest of my family look like normal cattle in their animal forms... But... The reason I hate it now... Is because I learned that I was literally born with it. It didn't grow in... And it's the reason my mother is dead... I never got to meet her... Now every time I see it, I avert my eyes... But... I think Redd likes it... Being an actual Unicorn, it probably makes our relationship feel more natural."

hsin

"Would you rather live as a normal human without a horn and tails, or are you fine the way you are?"

"Rue...how do words explain him. He's so kind, always willing to help and so innocent. I've never known a better soul. He deserves all the happiness in the world. Anyone could find comfort in his presence, even the evilest of villains....his father however, I wasn't particularly fond of. When he was drunk, he usually mumbled to himself in a corner, so he wasn't a horrible person."

 Njal Jansen Caine

In your own words, how do you feel about Rue? How did you feel about his father while he was still alive?

Despite not being attached to many people, Does Njal want  to be more attached or seek out relationships? Does he avoid it because he dislikes social interactions or deeper relationships or simply because he's afraid of them?

It's kind of complicated: he simultaneously does want to be with more people and spend time with them, but he gets tired and bored of them so quickly he often feels like it's not worth the bother + his depression acts up a lot and makes him feel miserable in a company even when he'd actually like to enjoy it, and he reads this depression backslash as something like "yeah maybe I just don't like people after all". He is also afraid of people making fun of him as he used to be pretty mercilessly bullied as a child, and he is somewhat unwilling to put an effort on correcting himself when he ends up doing something wrong to other people.

It's honestly a big mess of multiple things haha but honestly just being more exposed to social situations would do a lot good to him in his case, as Njal isn't antisocial by nature. He is calm and an introvert for sure, but used to be much more open and social! And considering how clingy he can get with people he learns to like and trust I think he does want more affection and interacting with others, but just doesn't know how to and he gets exhausted by it very easily.

In similar comparison- does this only apply to the real world, or does it apply to his video game habits too? Does he prefer playing games alone? Or is he able to be more social in a multiplayer situation like that?

Njal mostly plays video games alone, but he is known to also play online games. He has a couple of games he has played for years so he is pretty comfortable going on voice chat, but he usually doesn't chat about anything else but the game situation on hand, and leaves the other kind of chitchat out of it. Video games are a good way to bond with him though as he hardly gets tired of them, knows a lot and does have this side to him where he enjoys boasting off with how much he knows and can do.

Once he gets more familiar with his magical boy group he plays video games with them, and slowly starts to feel more comfortable spending time with them + his mood actually improves once the magical business forces him to get out of home's comfort and do things.

It is notoriously a pain- not for god-reasons but like...having him go to sleep for months at a time and refuse to do the dishes because its "beneath him' makes it a chore. Its certainly interesting, though I wish he didn't start an earthquake every time he sneezed and messed up the house
