"Is it that obvious?" Dain grins painfully, running a hand back up through his hair. He stays like that for a second, with his head tilted to one side. "You know if you had have asked me that question a month ago I think I'd have said 'yes' in a heartbeat. But now..." He drops his arm back to his side and lifts his gaze up to the horizon, "So much depends on me now. My life's not about just me any more, it's about the fate of whole star systems...."

"There are billions of people who look to me as their new hope. I couldn't turn my back on them... not now." He sighs, examining one of his new hands glittering with cyan circuitry, flexing his fingers to watch how they moved, "I don't know. None of this even feels real yet." He shakes his head. "I can't even answer your question with a yes or no. I can't even think about 'could'.The fact of the matter now is just that it is."

"I see your mental state isn't in good shape.. Would you give up your newfound power if you could?"

"Honestly.. I don't believe I need to prove my ability at all, especially to those ignorant other girls. I have no one I must look out for other than myself, all that matters is that I do my responsibility and get it done. I don't need to justify my place, I know I am capable.."

"Darling, I know that others may look down on your ability to lead, but I think it's more important to ask if you are ready to lead? How do you intend on proving that to the others?"

"Well, I don't really have a place of my own. I tend to stick around those who've I've already had relations with, since it's harder to find new people who are alright with sleeping with a succubus than just staying with one you know is~ Once they get tired of me, or more likely I get tired of them, I move on to my next location. If it's particularly slow, I just room with Tate and Tulip. Aren't they sweet for letting me stay with them~?"

They don't... Really know what to say to that. Isn't this a prime example of their inability to function? Oh gosh, they're extremely nervous. "I- I don't think I have. I don't know, what if it doesn't work? I don't- I don't wanna waste anyone's time, it's not their fault, it's just me." they play with their hands as they avert their eyes, very visibly uncomfortable. "But if it works and lets me do a better job, then... Then it would be okay, I guess. A-as long as they're okay with it..." they still doubt it, they doubt they will really improve at all. They feel that they're broken and it's just their fault and they will fail no matter what, but they also want to do a good job, and they don't know which urge is stronger.

"Seems to me you're just not good at working aimlessly. Most people aren't, but with a little guidance they're gold. Ever had someone give you a job then give you step-by-step directions on how to carry it out? If we're making bets, mine's on the fact that it would do you and your work a lot of good."

"They say there's two sides to every story, and both sides of this one agree that Sandy's a b..." Drew, Seth decided, didn't need the profanity. "... A, uh, bad person. We were fighting about her going to live with her scumbag boyfriend. Sure, I shouldn't have raised my voice. Wasn't the right way to take care of the situation. I was young and dumb, so that's on me. But she was done with hearing people give her flack about her decisions and she was thoroughly wasted, so she made her statement with her drink. Half full bottle right to the face. Doctors said I coulda died, but I think that's all drama.
"She's off the hook because my family's always babied her. 'Daddy's little princess' is a good way to put it. Moms and Pops didn't want to make things worse. She already hated them for quietly disapproving of her boyfriend, and they couldn't believe their little angel hurt me. It's not like they like her better as far as I know. They're just trying to keep a family that's falling apart together. And I get it. I'm there myself right now. All kinds of stupid how we know what's right, but tiptoe around doing what's wrong when we want people to like us. Who wants to rock the boat? Not my parents. Not with Sandy. And I guess if we're being hones, not me either."

Can you tell me more about your sister? Why did she assault you in the past, and why do you think she's allowed to walk free without a charge?

"I don't remember life before, since I was hauled off when I was an infant, so this is all I've ever known. I guess that helps me cope, the outside world seems more like a fairytale to me, in a way." Drew states. "I guess I can also accredit some of my happiness to my friends who are trapped here too, I love them like family and vowed to get us all out one day."

"Your circumstances sound pretty rough, kid. Sorry about that. Or I guess you aren't really a kid anymore, ain't that right? Do you remember the life before you were confined? What is it that keeps you away from falling into complete despair?" 

"Never. I don't have the time or money to get all prettied up, it ain't gonna give me anything but trouble. I'm tryina keep them as hidden as possible anyway, so the idea of putting any more emphasis on them is atrocious." 

Hey dude, Never thought about diversify your stockings ? I mean, they're not Bad or anything, they're cool, but Never thought about to do shopping for to have a bigger wardrobe ?

Hmm ? Of course not, i'm not doing only shopping. I work, too. If not, i Spend my Time on social networks. And i don't have favourite things to buy : i'm not racist of outfits, everything is bought with me, ah !

"Since you're so lazy and so got plenty of free time, do you pretty much spend all of it shopping? What's your - um, favorite kinds'a fashion to get?"

Edit: "Ah, actually, I don't mind it! While I don't dabble with it since it's a bit too advanced for me, I do prefer to use more traditional methods, but I don't mind all the fancy new inventions and shiny gadgets that people have come up with over the centuries ^^ I definitely don't mind not having to make my own clothing by hand stitching every thread and seam together anymore, haha! It's good to keep up with the times, but it doesn't hurt to keep to traditions at times either. At this little herbal store I work at every so often, I'll still use a mortar and pestle, but I use a marble one now compared to say, a stone one that I would have used when I was truly alive. The currency system now is more preferable to what was around when I was alive, but I do struggle with using cash registers ^^;;; It's not really the technology that has me offset now a days, but more of what people do with it. All the guns and violence and unjust slaughters of people, I can't stand it. What use is evolving from arrows and spears and traps built for animals to all these big guns if the targets are other humans...?"

"So you've been alive for several centuries. It must be overwhelming to see such advances in technology, I imagine. What do you think, living from back then to now, a time where cars are beginning to drive themselves? Does the technology frighten you? Or is there another aspect of this future that worries you more?"

"I spend my free time working on puzzle books; it keeps the mind active. I also listen to music, and occasionally review my knowledge on the piano and the violin, though not as much as I'd like to say. There are also times, I'll admit, where I prioritize days where basketball and football games are on."

(ooc) What's the story behind your nickname "God of Wrath"? 

"Never heard of such terms being applied to me before," Rose pointed out, tilting his head in slight confusion. "But I drink blood - any blood, not just human blood. It's just that the bigger the creature the easier it is to drink from them without accidentally killing them, and I wouldn't want that! I can also eat and drink human food and I can still taste it unlike most adult vampires, but it doesn't fill me the same way, really. Or rather, I could function even without it, but blood is crucial if I want to live. I'm small so I don't need much, but it's important to drink regularly to stay in good health."
