Ask a question to the above person's OC

Posted 7 years, 7 months ago (Edited 6 years, 10 months ago) by Amvira varkarrus

So it'll go like this: A person posts a question to the above user's OC. Then, after a new person posts a question, the first person edits their post to have an answer.

Something like

Person A: (posts a question to the above person)

Person B: Does (person A) like cupcakes?

then Person A edits their post so it's like

Person A: (posts a question to the above person)
I do like cupcakes!

Person B: Does (person A) like cupcakes?

Person C: Could (person B) defeat Goku in a fight?

then

Person A: (posts a question to the above person)
I do like cupcakes!

Person B: Does (person A) like cupcakes?
No, I absolutely could not take Goku on in a fight, have you seen that guy?

Person C: Could (person B) defeat Goku in a fight?

EDIT: Try and ask questions that lead to the development of characters!

EDIT2: Cant believe this needs to be said, but make your posts legible!!!!

EDIT3: Also. Read the person's profile before you ask a question!
Follow these rules or I'll implement a banlist!

I'll edit this post to include a response to the next person's question, once somebody posts!

(re: "Do you enjoy sitting in a garden to relax?")
"A garden? Pfeh! What kind of pansy-ass garbage is that? Lemme tell you how I relax! A warm, musty couch, some snacks, and video games! Hah!" ((But to be honest, she might enjoy just lounging around under a tree on a hot day))

Wh-why is your favorite season spring? I don't have a favorite season. They all have their awesome points.

"N -not any more. She died when I was really little."

" Hello. I would like to know, do you have a mother ? I don't Saw anything about her. "

" No worries, you can ask. I even refuse the memory of my mother is forgotten. In fact, for to be short, a demon killed her and snatched my eye when i was a newborn. I'm very lucky to have survive to them. "

Nikolai Byko PicklePantry

"I suppose I shouldn't ask for spoilers as to what happened to your mother, so I'll ask something else instead. Tell me, dearie, what happened to your eye that necessitates an eyepatch?"

"Gracious me, give me a moment to decipher what I've just heard." He pauses, eyes closed. Just when it appears he's fallen asleep, he opens his eyes again. "I can't say I have, dearie. I've always been more of a follower than a leader. Less work, you see."

Carandol IsaKai

Scribble, scribble. Are you a robot too???? Or are you some sort of animal??? Maybe you're both??? Like a cyborg animal!!! Give me all the deets!!

Scribble, scribble. Oh, yeah I can't really just learn to do it? I mean, I have a full grasp of language, it's just that I don't have the programming to do so. Like, whoever programmed me never downloaded a voicebank for me. I would download one for myself (I've even got a few in mind lol) but I don't know how to do it??? So I guess this sketchbook is just gonna have to work for now!

"So, what are your thoughts on each of your parents? How would you describe your feelings about them and your overall relationship with them?"

“It’s sorta like that, but it’s not the texture that bothers me. It just feels restrictive for some reason. I’m okay with sleeveless tops for the most part, but damn do I hate sleeves. Even loose fitting sleeves piss me off, since those just feel like they’ll get caught on something or get in the way. Plus whenever I use the fin ridges that can grow out of my arms, sleeves always end up obstructing them or just getting torn through, so it’s better to just not have them.

I could get away with it better when I was a kid, since the weather was always warm and we lived right on the coast, so running around without a shirt was pretty normal, especially when you could just jump into the water whenever you wanted. Here it’s okay during most of the year, but there are actual winters here. Took a while to get used to the snow, but I’m a stubborn asshat who still won’t wear sleeves even in a blizzard. And I still tolerate the cold better than my best friend when he’s bundled up.

Plus, covering up this sculpted landscape with a shirt is borderline offensive.”

Maeve R. Herne Glitterbark

"I'm curious - why don't you like shirts? I know, I know! That's a silly question, but I knew a boy who refused to wear shoes because he 'couldn't stand the texture of things on his feet', so I was wondering if it was something like that."

-

"Oh, goodness. Isn't that a complicated question? ...If I'm being quite honest, I don't think I'd want omnipotence, at least without the omniscience to know the ramifications of what I was doing... but I suppose if I have it, I ought to use it for the best good I can think of, right? And the best good certainly wouldn't be murdering an entire country, despite what they did to my people." She rubs at her forehead, smiling still, but the squint of her brow indicates deep thought. "The war was necessary - at least, the break from the Empire was. King Charles the XV was certainly going to draft our people again, forcing them to fight in the same imperialist conquests his grandfather had pursued fifty years before. Civil unrest in my country was at an all-time high, and his efforts to control my people through taxation only made the situation worse. Revolt was inevitable. We would not know peace unless we asserted ourselves once and for all. But... perhaps if I was omnipotent, I could have made a change that would both guarantee our right to independent rule and prevent us from being embroiled in war?"

A smirk twists it's way onto her mouth - a bitter expression, and a somewhat brutal one. "I wonder, how many nations would have been bettered by the death of King Charles, the living embodiment of territorial greed? Yes. If I could have introduced an idea that would have stopped the war, it would be among the king's own staff. Simply assassinating him wouldn't be enough; he'd need a replacement. If I could go back in time, with the knowledge I have now and the power to do something... I'd make a puppet out of the next heir of the Empire, and make sure the Prince's father met at untimely demise. Having someone to champion our cause... wouldn't that have been nice?"

 Carlotta colorful

"What beautiful flowers you have there, miss. Hmm, war, huh... A man-made plague, it is. Well, this inspires me to ask you a question. If you were given the chance to be omnipotent once, what would you do? Would you rather time travel and share an idea to stop the war and regain what you've lost, or do you prefer to destroy the opposing sides with such omnipotence?"

" do you something would like to find your biological parents ? "

" I .... hm, well, yes. I'm happy and scared at the same time. I love my parents, but REALLY love them.  To be at their side while they're still young is good, because i can watch them, see how they are in the best of their health, of their skills, not tired, not ill ... But, i know it's not normal at all. A child should grow up at the same time of their parents. To see them take ages is totally normal, and belongs to the life. See how they change, physically, mentally ... Yes, i must confess, it's pretty anxious about that, but whatever now, i'll take care of them ! "

Alcott Northwind PicklePantry

"Oh. My son is always going on about this game your past reminds me of. Something about fate and war, I don't really know, but let me get to the question. Time is kind of distorted in these Deeprealms, right? How does it feel seeing your parents the same age despite the years that have passed on your side? It must be awkward being the same age as them when you finally join, right?"

"I never liked my ex-wife. Her mother, now that was a woman. Kind, beautiful... She was perfect. But she chose my best friend instead of me, and before I knew it, I got a call about a car crash. Their daughter was old enough to live on her own, but I was still requested in the will to keep an eye on her as a form of guardian. She didn't see it that way, and her crush on me turned into an overbearing infatuation. I denied her several times until she began to threaten herself, so I felt I had no choice. The first two kids we had together came from me trying to make it work. Next one came from her begging, the last two were from drunken nights. After that I realized what kind of hellhole I was stuck in, and I left the divorce papers on her table."

Emyra ChickieDee

"Did you always not like your ex-wife? Or did something happen? If you didn't like her from the start, why did you marry her? I-I'm sorry if this is intrusive or anything! It just seems odd to me to have so many children with someone you don't like, is all..."

"O-oh! Um, the Felidae are omnivorous, actually! Most of our diet and nutrients come from meat and fish, though. Vegetables and stuff like that are sort of just extras in a way? If that makes sense, of course...! As for our society, it's sort of structured on a class system? We have the royal family, and then the artisans and the like, and then the farmers, and then the merchants. My mother and I were apart of the merchants, so we weren't always that well off, b-but we got to travel a lot, which was nice! Most of the other classes stay where they are and don't move around much, so it's a fond memory to think of how we got to see more of our land. I think I may have rambled a bit, but I hope that explains it some?"

 Matthew Wells GalaxieAuLait

"Since your species is a predator one, do you eat exclusively meat? And what are societies of your kind typically like?"

"That's a pretty difficult question. I'm not sure if hate is the right word, but I do dislike them pretty strongly. They did mess me up pretty badly by leaving me here, but I'm positive I wouldn't have met my friends. But I think I do still resent them, a lot. I don't think I'd ever get revenge on them, though. If I get free I just want this to be over and done with, you know?"

Kvadrat Kolo

"Do you feel hatred towards your parents for what they did? Would you ever seek revenge, and if so, would it satisfy you?"

"Yes. That is practically the only thing I use them for."
