Renne would be some sort of healer with very low defense - she relies on her team to keep her protected. She would probably have a song to heal her team mates.
Just as the title says, this is a game where you take a look at the oc above your post and come up with the role they might play in a video game!
Here are a few things to remember while you're playing:
- I shouldn't have to say this more than once, but please be respectful of one another.
- Put some effort into what you're going to say. I'm sure that the other person will appreciate it!
- If you're going to write something rather long, you may want to claim the post above you, just in case.
- You can post once for every other three posts. If the thread hasn't moved in 24 hours, you may post before this.
- NEW ** As of February 27th, please be sure to write more than one sentence. We want to see your imagination run!
- NEW ** Also as of February 27th, make sure to give the character's profile a read - it helps in forming your assumption of their role! It also shows that you've thought about your answer, and everyone appreciates it. If there isn't anything to their profile and they merely have visuals, disregard this. :)
But how do I play?
- Though this game might seem somewhat difficult, it's actually quite the opposite!
- All you have to do is look at the above oc and come up with their role in a video game.
- Here are some questions you might want to ask yourself if you're stumped: "Are they a protagonist, antagonist, NPC, boss, party member, etc? What genre of video game might they belong in? Do they have any particular movesets? Do they serve a special purpose? Do they do something special in-game?"
Here's an example:
- Person 1: What kind of video game character would characterA be?
- Person 2: They look really buff and strong-willed, so they might be the protagonist! I could see them in some fantasy setting, like a noble knight trying to save a princess or something? They look like they could carry around really heavy weapons, and can pack a punch, so I'd say they're the heavy-hitter of the team.
Felicia sounds like she could either be a special character that the protags need to get info from about something happening within the plot (she just seems like that kind of femme fatale character) or maybe a special quest-giving or merchant NPC where you get can special stat upgrades or something by buying her massages or attention!
Mocha seems perfect for the co-protagonist role! Her personality and abilities would come in hand of the main character a lot of times, and she would be important for reaching the final goal (may it be defeating a villain or completing an important mission).
Moondrop definitely looks like the companion you get at the beginning of the game, and is constantly talking. They're not super useful in terms of combat, they just navigate you or give you hints.
Probably NPC who can offer you help, but for a price, and would be super shady about it like "sure, I can help you open that gate, if you gather me the bones of an enemy."
I feel like they would be the / a protag in either an arpg because of their design / how bright their colors are!!! Their game is about battling while exploring space or a set world!! The game would be kid friendly but have a competitive aspect to it to draw in adults; sort of like Pokémon??
I think Glitter would be more like a summon... like in Final Fantasy or Persona something, that can be used to cast spells, such as healing or maybe some sort of buff.
Thane looks like he would be a prisoner of a sort, or a slave. He looks as though he'd play extremely innocent, making the player's heart ache, like Cole in Dragon Age: Inquisition. The player would be given the choice to set him free or not later on in the game, he proves to be the greatest addition to the game if he is set free.
A sort of secondary main character like a player 2 character- the cowardly and sweet counterpart to the rambunctious and brave main character!
Haruka feels like an NPC in a modern-setting JRPG that doesn't really make appearances in the game, but that's often talked about! She's the star that everyone's chatting about, and whose songs are always playing on the radio! She'd have songs that you can hear throughout the game, including a badass song that she would sing during the final boss fight!
Callisto's skillset is making me think of a tinker/engineer type character.... Maybe she'd take on a sort of roguely role, being an artificer in a team of other heroes? I feel like she'd rely more on her wits and inventions than on brawn or magic in a fight.
If not a player character, then she'd be the lovable, overworked engineer in charge of keeping the spaceship/airship/whatever up and running!
Mm, Samara looks like she could be one of those adorable helper NPCs~! Just looking at her design, anyways-- it's simple and sweet, pleasing to the eye and has a friendly vibe. <3 Something about them brings to mind a fantasy setting-- maybe it's the hat?? Reminds me of those cute little elves or dwarves, or maybe even a little mage of some sort.
