I'd say Decius is the "bad scientist" that ends up creating a deadly plague and the main hero has to find him to find out the cure, but then finds out the scientist has already died from it.
Just as the title says, this is a game where you take a look at the oc above your post and come up with the role they might play in a video game!
Here are a few things to remember while you're playing:
- I shouldn't have to say this more than once, but please be respectful of one another.
- Put some effort into what you're going to say. I'm sure that the other person will appreciate it!
- If you're going to write something rather long, you may want to claim the post above you, just in case.
- You can post once for every other three posts. If the thread hasn't moved in 24 hours, you may post before this.
- NEW ** As of February 27th, please be sure to write more than one sentence. We want to see your imagination run!
- NEW ** Also as of February 27th, make sure to give the character's profile a read - it helps in forming your assumption of their role! It also shows that you've thought about your answer, and everyone appreciates it. If there isn't anything to their profile and they merely have visuals, disregard this. :)
But how do I play?
- Though this game might seem somewhat difficult, it's actually quite the opposite!
- All you have to do is look at the above oc and come up with their role in a video game.
- Here are some questions you might want to ask yourself if you're stumped: "Are they a protagonist, antagonist, NPC, boss, party member, etc? What genre of video game might they belong in? Do they have any particular movesets? Do they serve a special purpose? Do they do something special in-game?"
Here's an example:
- Person 1: What kind of video game character would characterA be?
- Person 2: They look really buff and strong-willed, so they might be the protagonist! I could see them in some fantasy setting, like a noble knight trying to save a princess or something? They look like they could carry around really heavy weapons, and can pack a punch, so I'd say they're the heavy-hitter of the team.
Arsene is definitely a boss in an open world RPG. It could be a side quest, or a main story one, but the party would try to get to the tree to obtain that wish, and Arsene would be there guarding it with his life.
Inkubus seems like he would start out as an early game boss, but then after being defeated by the protagonist, he shows up on occasion to bother chat it up with the protagonists, and sometimes provide valuable information, like hearsay on where the protag's next objective is. There's also flirting going on, which may or may not be returned by the protag. Let the fanfics and fanart decide.
Seemingly normal NPC where if certain conditions are met she will give you hints here and there that lead to a secret quest that turns out to be instrumental in unlocking the true ending for the game. Also probably the type of character to spawn an in-joke/meme around her dialogue.
Alex would either be the character you play as or the best friend/guide/second-in-comand to your player character that guides them through the video game and brings 60% of the humor and jokes in the whole game asdfghj///
Definitely like, a merchant who almost kind of stalks the protag throughout the game. Like, he just seems to appear anywhere and everywhere, even the places it should be impossible for him to get to. You can also choose to fight him and he ends up being an extremely difficult optional boss battle!

Écru looks like she would be the princess that fights for herself. A lot of people try to offer to protect her, but she always challenges them to a dual and wins!

She seems nice, I imagine her being really helpful.
She would either be in a party as a healer or she'd be someone the protagonist goes to for advice and guidance.
Carlos would absolutely be a sort of unsympathetic character! Either an NPC that's programmed to be absurd and give false tips and horrid tricks, or a recruitable party member that...would also give false tips! Better have a crate full of alcohol ready for 'im, because he would likely drink you dry in an RPG game! Albeit, not addicted to alcohol, if he were a tiny lil' drunken dwarf man...hoo'boy!
I feel like I've gotten a sort of awkward impression of Carlos from our conversations on Discord. XD
