Favorite Character of the OC Below (IC)

Posted 6 years, 6 months ago (Edited 6 years, 6 months ago) by bulgariansumo

This might be a bit far-fetched for a game idea, but, here's how it works: Go through the above user's ocs and pick a character that one of your characters would be interested in, and as your character, say why they're interested in the above user's character. Remember, it can be any character from the above user's gallery, not just the one that they're posting with.

Character A: I like [one of User Z's OCs] because I think we would get along very well.

Character B: I would like to meet [one of User A's OCs] because I think they'd make a good sparring partner.

Character C: I feel like [one of User B's characters] would make a good employee for my company.

These are just examples. Reasons a character may be interested in another can be varied, but try not to get to rude, even if it's in character. Also, try not to get too NSFW, since I plan on keeping this forum open to the general public. Hope you enjoy!

Olethros Vapor

Was it not basic decency to look to the law for guidance? To loathe vilification in all its forms?

Apparently not for Olethros. The abuse of power was so commonplace, and even now, after however many years she spent in hibernation, she still sensed it all around her. Hell, she probably didn't even need her so-called "powers" to tell that was the case. But, given all of this, the knowledge there was little right with the world, she had good people to look forward to. Alex seemed good. She hoped she was right.

But, it wasn't the faults of the system that she chose to speak of, as she climbed out of the swamp to meet him again. Muddy water rolled down her face, grime clung to her hair, and she just stared at him. For a while, it stayed that way, until she finally spoke on a thin, airy rasp, "I have not had crepes. Not in so long. I think. Lalagia, yes. They're good with cinnamon and honey."

Olethros crept closer to Alex, slowly easing to her feet. "I think loukoumi is better than both of them. I might be able to make orange loukoumi for you." Considering how filthy she was, maybe it was for the best Alex turn down that offer. "For your crepes... loukoumi. I think I still remember how to make it..."

Nathaniel Clement fizzelston

“Ah if that isn’t my favourite neighbourhood terrorist,” Nathaniel said. He dropped the cloth he was using back into it’s bucket and leaned against the small zeewolf-boat he was cleaning up. His eyebrows raised as he looked at Manslaughter. Well, more actually at her gun.
“That’s a pertty sturdy lookin’ thing,” he complimented her. Nathaniel straightened his back before half kneeling down before the 12-year-old. “That doesn’t even need gunpowder, I think,” the fantasy!Victorian muttered to himself. He shook his head.
“But it leaves you guardless if people manage to sneak up on you. Or get in close range,” he said. Nathaniel straightened his back once more and peaked inside his zeewolf-boat. He leaned into it and grabbed a small hand-axe from its bottom. The weapon looked even smaller in the Whaler’s big hands. It’s handle was made of whalebone, the blade of iron.
“We use it to cut some rope on the big ships. Sometimes bone too,” he said. Nathaniel shrugged. Not clarifying whát kind of bone, of what creature he was speaking. Then held it out to her. “It's not as agile as a dagger, but you can surely do some damage with it,” Nathaniel encouraged Manslaughter.

"I am honored that I could entertain you," Xander said. He even made a quick bow in Alre's direction. His lute still resting in his hands. "Well thank you," he added, humbled. "My singing is a skill I have trained for so long now, I'm glad it still catches people's attention," he said. Xander smiled at her.,
"I am also glad that I could help you with that, is there anything else I can do? Do you fancy some tea maybe?" He asked the dragon.

Aire RadiantzRain

"My, I do say that you have certainly peaked my interest. 6 fingers on each hand? You are an oddity, I like it. Something about you makes me feel... Relaxed, inside, and not many things can cause such a feat. I've never seen anyone as good at singing as Jacaranda, which is something to be proud of."

"I get a feeling of security around you, which is something I like. Helps ease my paranoia." She smiles, huddling her wings into her sides, a sign that she is in fact, calm right now.

Kul T. Leder PicklePantry

"My, what a beast you are!" Kul laughed, arms spread out to take in all the glory of Aldebaran. "A dragon! The great, mythical beast in the flesh! I knew it, I knew you were all real, just as my lord! And to think, you have been gone from humans' eyes for so long because you've been protecting us. Marvelous, simply marvelous.
"Help me, mighty Aldebaran, in unleashing darkness upon this world! Surely with our lord's help he will prevent those purple veins from taking more of you and corrupting you from your noble tasks!"

"Just about!" En answered, wiping sweat from his forehead. "There's a couple things still left out, I can get to them in a bit." It was a scorcher out there. He was glad, though, that he was here and not home. Being near the waters made things unbearably humid, though he felt some of that here too.

The ex-prince sat down with a relieved sigh, glad to rest his weary legs. His stomach grumbled in agreement. He sure hoped he could get some strawberry muffins soo-- Hang on, something smells different. It smells like... No way...
En moved to the kitchen, his eyes widening at the glorious sight. Crispy, gold, delicious. Onion rings. He looked at Noel incredulously, then back to the rings, then back to him, then back to them. "A-Are you serious?" he gasped. Was this a dream? He felt like he was going to cry, but restrained himself knowing full well he'd get yelled at for crying over food. Instead, he grabbed the top onion ring and bit into it. Then he cried. "It's so good," he sniffed.

Noel Alkaev Vapor

"You've finished for the day?" Noel glanced over at En when the young prince entered the cabin. He watched the younger man for a moment, and then turned back to where he worked in the kitchen.

"You can rest for a bit, either way. Anything leftover I'll have to get to in a moment, I have to ride out to check on the traps." He set aside a plate, and then beckoned En over. "I wanted to try something else, though. Here."

Onion rings.

There were onion rings on the plate.

"Take however many you want." he said, "Just assume it's payment." And not simply a gift, though it was certainly more of one. He didn't want to admit it yet, though perhaps it was obvious by now, that he had a bit of a soft spot for the younger man. En was naive, a bit unsure of himself, and not the sharpest tool in the shed, but Noel... appreciated him? Enjoyed his company? Felt the need to protect him from anyone who would want to shove him into a locker?

Again, reluctant to mention it, Noel nudged the plate closer to En. "Just wash off the plate when you're done, please." he then added, conjuring back up his usual, gruff tone, "I'll be too tired to clean once I'm back. That's all I ask."

 Zerani stagiselle

⠀⠀⠀⠀ "I am sorry to interrupt," the confident politeness of a woman who knows she is exactly where she is supposed to be at this exact moment in time, and that it is here, in front of this man, breaks the reserved silence that had taken hold of him. "Lord Burnett, yes?"

⠀⠀⠀⠀ Kind eyes meet his, and though it is only for a moment, it feels like much longer, as she takes that moment to read into him, deeply. To see into the very fibre of his being. To see what exists behind those silent, observant eyes. And, just for a sliver, what exists for him in time long past since their meeting. It is only a moment, but she now looks at him as if she has known him his whole life, and she hers. Then, they shift from him, to the horse.

⠀⠀⠀⠀ "He is in pain." With the shifting gaze from the man to his companion, those deep green eyes were now seeing behind the horse's dark brown equivalents. A step towards the creature, and she kneels down beside it, getting a closer look as it lays on the ground, captured by lethargy and illness. She knows it is not what the lord wants to hear, and so, she comforts him with the knowledge: "He is in pain, but I can help."

⠀⠀⠀⠀ Whilst kneeling, she looks back up at the lord, a reassuring yet knowing smile gracing her features, like the one a mother gives her upset child when she knows everything will be alright. She knows he cares for the creatures. Gives them the respect they deserve. And for that, she respects him just as well. And so, turning back to the horse, she lays a gentle hand on the wide of its neck.

⠀⠀⠀⠀ There is no visible sign of change, during the long moment she rests her hand against its coat, until— suddenly— the horse pulls itself up off the ground, once again regaining its footing on all fours. Delighted in its returned vitality, it trots away, tail swishing and head bucking as if it had just woken from a long slumber and was now full of energy. Meanwhile, Vashti remains a few moments longer, kneeling on the ground. It seems to take her a moment, and a little more effort to pull herself up with a small stagger, but she is able to, for the most part, maintain her elegance. That familiar smile returns as she once more meets the lord's gaze— though it is strained this time.

⠀⠀⠀⠀ "My work here is done."

Torriku Atsukaimasu PicklePantry

"Ooh, you're the first fairy I've met in a looong time that hasn't been all peaceful and patient. That's already a good first impression for me!" Tori hung off a branch of a tree with his legs, folding his arms behind his head while whistling in Nimue's direction, impression. "I think your pranks could use a little refining, but you've got some great stuff here!"

He hopped off the tree and landed besides her, tilting his head playfully and holding a hand out. "My name's Torriku, call me Tori. I think we could work together on some pranks. And maybe, just maybe, if you're lucky you can try on my mask~"

 Michael tellydraws

Chad seems like a nice person.” Said Michael, happily. “W-we could um, go on adventures together. And not to mention I think there are some people trying to hunt me down…it would be nice to have someone be my friend and be by my side.”
Michael was nervous, having to ask such a cool and popular person like Chad to be his friend. But they could protect each other! Michael could probably take down monsters, and Chad with his influence could protect him from bullies! “So c-could we hang out some time?”

Peyton Greer robot-star

"You like fantasy too? AND Nintendo? I think we'll get along just fine, Eric!" Peyton said with a friendly grin, "I actually run a game of DnD on Wednesdays if you'd be interested in joining! OH! I should show you my miniature collection, I have this custom one of Samus in fantasy armor, it's really cool, I'll show you!" In his supremely nerdy excitement he left the room to grab a box full of dnd miniatures...

Ciao sunnyshrimp

"Y'know - you're pretty damn cool, Bec." Ciao grins, shockingly chipper. "Pretty dope you're in a band. My friends think I'm tone deaf, but I'm not too shabby with the keyboard. We should collab. That'd be pretty sick. You got a SoundCloud?"

They roll their weight forward onto the balls of their feet - and then back onto their heels. "Good on you for getting away from that weirdo mortician, too. They're the worst. I'd know. Heheh."

Clementine Spinebby

"Ah, Yukio." Clementine giggled softly, circling him. "I see right through you." She sighed pitifully. "You and I are one in the same." Clementine hadn't met anyone else taking on a religious disguise to hide their true behavior and intentions. That false sense of security, to those seeking for salvation, only to be crushed by the ones they confided in. Thinking of not being alone excited her; the possibility of working with someone similar to her made her thoughts go crazy. How fun it would be!

"If I weren't so used to the scent of blood, I wouldn't have noticed that odor under all of your perfume." Clementine teased with a fanged smile. "Tell me, are you even human?"

Kenshin Yamada PicklePantry

Ken had been just on his way out the door of a boba shop when he bumped into someone, nearly spilling his drink. After confirming that his drink was still okay, he angrily turned to the kid and yelled, "Watch where you're going!" only to freeze immediately afterwards. Wait a minute, was that...? He blinked a few more times before gasping lightly. "No way, you're Noiv!" For the first time in what felt like years, Ken smiled. "I like Super tenshi Mii-Tan. I watch it all the time! It's a comfort for me whenever I'm in North America for work."

He wasn't used to being a fan, rather having fans himself, so he felt a little awkward. More so upon seeing that Noiv was a lot younger than he'd anticipated. Still, it was cool finally getting to meet the guy.

(She's doomed now   )

Ennette inhaled sharply. He hesitated! What did that mean, what did that mean?? What was he going to say? Was it... Could it be... love confession?! Oh goodness, how would she have responded! To hear his voice say something like that? To her? Goodness, she wanted to swoon!
Fortunately for the both of them, he instead talked about their previous encounter, and Ennette's blush turned embarrassed. "Ah, yes," she nodded with a timid smile. "The flavors were... strong? It's nothing I'm used to. I suppose I'm not used to it, is all," she laughed lightly. "B-Being around you, though, made it a memorable night." Ah, how mortifying, to lay her feelings out like this! Oh, but she couldn't help it, it just kept coming! "I think I prefer teas and coffees a lot more. If... If you'd be willing, m-maybe you'd like to join me?"

Novem Aloofcloud

"Ennette you're-..." Novem paused, a frown setting on his face as he realized that saying 'you're the most tolerable' was actually incredibly rude.  A nervous smile instead winds up on his face, he wasn't actually nervous, but rather making it seem that way so there'd look to be an excuse for his pause. "Doing well I see.  Avoiding bars?" The woman had seemed rather inexperienced when it came to alcohol during their last meeting, so it was only fair Novem bring it up again.

"They're not really all what everyone chalks them up to be, are they?" The nine-tail lets out a deep chuckle.  Shut up Novem, you can't get drunk, we get it.  It was all about the social aspect...though in truth Novem hated the social aspects of bars.
