Glade

He seemed so... tense. She was sad at the thought that this timid scholar might have been caught up in the political throes of Namarast, disrupting his life and his work. For she'd always known him to be a good sort, without any ill intent towards others - if nothing else, he was likely the one to be taken advantage of on the road, and she worried for him now. Was he referring to personal difficulties? The recent great hunts? Or perhaps trouble with Miriam's leadership and with the overreaching witchfinders? Would it be polite to even ask, or should she stay noncommittal?

"Mm. I am fine, no need to worry. But in truth..." she took a subtle glance around the clearing for others within earshot. When she was certain they wouldn't be overheard for the moment, she continued.

"Two great hunts occurring at once - I worry it's more than we can handle, despite the recent... success. Has such a thing happened before, in the records? Has this?" She paused, trying to assess the ram's source of stress as she pawed at the air towards the tower with a heavy hoof. His little forehead wrinkle was almost endearing. "I'm no Witchfinder, Perseus." She said, rather abruptly. Curses, but she'd lost some of her social graces - she only hoped some of what she'd said could put his mind at ease. She didn't much care what others thought of her, of course - but, well. No need to cause undue stress in a once-friend.
