"You always have a choice, Perseus." Her eyes flashed as she saw... something pass behind the ram's gentle expression. Was it desire? A mage these days could fall to otherwise noble pursuits, such as a hunger for knowledge. She didn't wish to lose a friend to such a fate, and she knew in her heart that this tower was not of Grace, but of Fortune... or something darker.
"I do not intend to go in without a very good reason. Does it call to you? I can feel it as well - but I caution you to think carefully before entering such a place. I'm here to keep the unwary out, for their own safety." She paused, looking him in the eye for a long moment. "I won't stop you, Perseus, if you came to explore this place. I cannot escort you, here, for I do not think it wise."
