Seth picked his way down the stairs, skirting around Vanessa and making a beeline for the kitchen for some more soda. Caffeine was a requirement for video game marathons, after all.

Maddie had finally figured out which house it was. Percy's house wasn't a place they had been to before. They were nervous. Ever since they died their mind had been plauged with thoughts. What if's. Hell. They regretted quite a bit of what they had done. Their hands, both pairs seemed to clench in on themselves as they walked towards the door.

Maybe they could enter.

Maybe things would be ok.

Maybe. Just maybe...

The pit in their stomach seemed to stay though as they lifted one of their hands almost as though they were going to know, but they seemed to slump against the door a bit instead. Hesitant, fearful. They might not have felt anything bad on the chat but imagine, what could be wrong. How much could be wrong.

What if they all saw Maddie and realized, oh.

It was a mistake.

That thought terrified Madeline Porter.

Vondila was holding a bag of some more food for supper when she saw someone at the front door of the house. Multi arms tall and looking sad. "Hey." She greeted as she got closer. "Sorry but that wont work. Front door wont let anyone through it." She explained but also keeping a distance between herself and the other just incase they were hostile. "I'm Vondila and I haven't seen you in this area. Did you die recently?"

Rolling the kinks out of her neck, Vanessa grimaces as she looks away from the ceiling and around the living room. She should probably clean up before Von gets back

Seth glanced up at the door, squinting. "Is somebody outside?" He asks Vanessa, glancing back at her curiously. "I didn't think the door worked."

Their mind ran as their hands twisted around their arms and made them feel more secure. They were panicked to see another person. The door won't let anyone through? It was trapping blythe and Seth right? They touched it frowning the pit in their stomach returning. This wouldn't go over well. "I... i... Blythe and Seth are in there right? " A whisper through a hesitant voice. "...I'm Maddie por-" Her attention changed to the voice she could hear inside loud enough they could hear. "Seth??"

Vondila blinked. Oh another one. Well she wasn't going to say that allowed. "Yeah Blythe and Seth are inside. If you can get in it will be through Percy's bedroom window... If not you'll need to join the other one on the roof... if she's there right now." Vondila explained. "Come on." She walked over to get towards the window. "Though so far I'm the only one that wasn't eaten that can get in." She added.

Vanessa shrugs in response to Seth's question; "Might be Von, or someone Von knew come looking for her" There was a Lilt or something she had been talking to lately, maybe he had come to say hi?

Seth had opened his mouth to answer, when he hears a muffled but familiar voice. "Maddie-?" He stepped closer to the door. "Where does Vondila come inside, again??"

Maddie looked at her and blinked "They are so this is the right place.. uh ok... I hope I hope I can I miss them." they spoke quietly almost unsure. "I... do you think they will hate me?" Madeline asked nervously to the stranger who was greenish. "Uh.. do do you think it will be ok possibly?" They asked.

The roof? She gave a small nod nervously. Gia? She was feeling rough and unsure.

Vondila blinked what happened to this one? The other two were a mess but this seemed like a lot. "I honestly haven't talked to them much. I think I've seen Blythe like three times and Seth normally gets food for them." She admitted. "But they seemed happy to see you in the chat room." She got to the window and opened it up. "You try first if not I'll show you were the roof nest is."

"Percy's bedroom" Vanessa replied, now heading to the door to listen for whoever the knocker was.

Seth heads to the room he thinks might have been Percy's. "Is that actually Maddie?" He finds the open window, and waits. "You out there, Rosebud?"

Maddie follows Vondila quietly as she looked down at her hands a bit simply thinking. They weren't feeling the best out of the bunch. "Ah I just... I hope it goes well I mean... yeah." She mumbles. "What if its a act." She whispers. "What if they realize they are disappointed in me?" She asks quietly as they looked at the window They see Seth waiting and gives a small nod. "Its me..." they whisper quietly.

"Please... work."

Vondila watched as the magic stopped the girl from getting in. Oh no. "Hey its okay. It's just the house is weird. I've so far been the only non eaten preson to get in." She stuck her bag in the window on the floor.

Vanessa follows Seth closely, curiosity piqued.

"It is you. I've missed you. We all have." He murmurs, even as Maddie fails to get inside. Glancing at Vanessa, he shakes his head and then turns towards the door. "I'll meet you upstairs, okay? Birdie and our Princess have been pretty focused on themselves."

Maddie's eyes teared up not only at seeing Seth but at not being able to get in. They touched it again and again unable to get it. Maddie didn't feel ok. "Why does this happen. Why can't we all just be happy together without weird barriers made by stupid Percy's house." They let out a pathetic noise.

"I. Missed you too."They spoke quietly. Why couldn't they? Why did it not let them in. When Seth mentioned meeting them upstairs a nod was given. "Which area. Spot." They were really quiet. It took everything they had to not let the tears in their eyes drop.

Vondila sighed and pointed at the bag. "I'll show the spot." She walks over to the back of the house and points up at the roof. "Can you leap?"

Vanessa saw the girl fail to get in and leave, moving out of Seth's way so he can meet her somewhere else she heads to the window to try and peak out and get a better look. Once again she wondered why herself, Seth and Crystal were trapped in here and others are barred while Vondila could come and go. Were there other places here like that?

Seth finishes getting upstairs and makes a beeline for the window, passing Blythe with only a nod of acknowledgement as he goes. Standing at the window, he leans forward as far as it will let him and waves his hand out of it. "Up here, Maddie! I'd come to you if I could!"

Maddie gave a nod as she watched Vondila they were quiet though. This hurt being so close yet so far from the people you loved. "I can leap." As she followed both Vondila and where Seth's hand came out.

"Im on my way." She called out as she prepped leaping. Hopefully it still worked.

They hoped so. What if it didn't what if. Stop getting in your own head they had to remind themself.

Vondila waited to make sure the other got up before she left.

Blythe looked at Seth confused. He was at the window and hearing him call out to Maddie she stumbled up and over. "Maddie?" She stood over Seth to look out. Her feather arms grabbing at the other a bit.

Seth jumped a little in surprise as Blythe held him, but leaned a little back into her as he waved for Maddie again. "We're up here, M! Blythe's at the window too!"

Maddie looked into the window up up high as she looked in. "Im here. I am here. BLYTHE  princess?" She called out almost crying. "You don't hate me right? You arent upset I didnt ascend right. If you are I understand" They spoke almost crying

Vondila blinked. Jeez what fucked up these kids this bad? Okay yes it was a cult but this was just wild.

Blythe shook her head. "No never. I was just so worried we did something wrong that you wanted to leave. I would never could never hate you my prince." Blythe called back.

"You did ascend, though? Maybe it wasn't with Miss Rose's supervision, but you gave the incubators your energy. That's all we can ask of you, Rosebud. That's all anyone can ask of you, in the end. I'm sorry I didn't get to." Seth reached out the window and held his hands out for Maddie to come closer, hoping he'd get to touch her again.

Maddie felt tears drop from their eyes as they looked between the both of them. Unable to touch or hug either. Oh this was torture. "I... I was scared. You would look at me and hate me. I didn't do it right. I never did it right. I always messed up. I broke my promises to you princess. and and I was a dissapointment. She moved closer to the window scared to touch Seth. What if this was a dream and they would wake up?

Vondila nodded and walked back to get into the house. She did not need to watch this shit.

Blythe made a grabby hand at Maddie. "It's okay Maddie... A lot happened. We lost Seth and Robin and it hurt a lot. I should have been there for you more but I was so worried about Gia I was focused on her more. If anyone should be upset is you at me." She stated. "I couldn't hate you, your wonderful. And strong. And cool. And pretty. And handsome. And wonderful. I just wished you didn't have to ascend your on own. Thats all, then maybe you wouldn't think we hate you then."

"You didn't do anything wrong, sweetheart. You're here now, and we can see you again. Come let us touch you, please?" Seth waved his hand again. "I've missed you, M."

Maddie looked at the both of them, they moved closer to the two scooting over slowly. "I am glad you had someone else to worry about." They spoke in a soft voice. "I just. I worried." She leaned closer to the window as far as it would let them. "I missed both of you so much. I did. I am glad to be home with everyone again. Because you all are my home." Maddie held out two hands to Blythe and the other two to Seth. "It's ok. I... hope none of you were there for it though." They spoke in a soft voice

Blythe pressed her hand into Maddie's. "I saw your witch... it held me actually. Like you did... I worried that I was something bad that you left behind with that... but we really don't lose anything." She rambled a bit.

Seth took Maddie's hands, and squeezed them gently. "I missed all of you, while I was alone in here. I'm so glad I get to see you both again. I'm sorry I can't come out there to see you, I wish I could."

Maddie looked at the both of them and hearing their witch held Blythe broke their heart just a little bit. "I...You would never be something bad to me Princess." She spoke quietly as she looked at Seth. "I missed you too. It was lonely without anyone. and It is ok, we can still all see eachother, we can all be close. We can. We." A pause.

"We all found eachother again even in death." A small laugh.

Blythe smiled. "Yeah. And when Gia gets back we can all be together." Blythe got a little bouncy in excitement. "We can finally play Pokemon BDSP!" She gushed. "Also we can play some multiplayer games." She was then holding a set of pro controllers in her hands. "My wish now lets me basically create what we need to play a game! I think is cause death is weird."

Seth smiles a little. "Weird. I think my wish just... ended, when I died? I'm anxious and everything again." He squeezes Maddie's hands again. "But yeah, M. We're all together again. Birdie's in her nest or something, and she'll be just as happy to see you as we are. Promise."

Maddie smiled a softer smile. "Oh really it seems you are prepared even in death for the newest games." She gave a soft laugh. "I still am strong but I don't know how much it matters. Here is peaceful. "They close their eyes as they place a hand over the other two's hands. "I'm glad we are together again. And can catch up. I need to hear everything!" She smiled ready to finally catch up.

Blythe smiled. "Well your wish Seth was like altering your head like Birdies. She longer shuts down. So I think those wishes stop or something well others might keep going." She tried to explain. "Also Maddie we both became multi armed!" Her hands that were just curled into herself like a t-rex started to flap. "Also Gia is really pretty and bird like! She has familiars that are like all of us and Yu." She got excited, it had been a while since she had a lot of energy to talk besides video games. "Also I'm taller then Seth... which is weird. I also have hooves." She made little clip stomps with them.
