How odd, I thought we had agreed that formalities can be dropped when a friendship is blooming. Was I the only one who had the intention to keep that notion? Call me by my first, Rosette, or I will end these letters here and now.
Anyway, it is actually good to hear from you Alastair. I was actually just asking my brother if our library contained any texts on Abyri. I would love to learn more about your kingdom, the trip proved it be a fascinating place and it has sufficiently piqued my interest. The hosts weren't half bad either.
No no, your rambling will not be steering me away, I promise. I do in fact find it quite endearing, and even perhaps a little comforting and... adorable.
That is the most you will be getting from me at this point in our friendship. Be grateful.
Unfortunately I must return to my work. I can see now what you meant about letter correspondence being "fun". I may not be able to get back to you right away all the time, but please do keep writing. I await your future letters, do not let me down.
