Love Letters

Dear Rosette,

I apologize deeply for the amount of time I was unable to spend with you in the library. Your letter left a three-day window, however the post does take longer to reach between our homes, and so I had no idea you would be visiting so suddenly. Had I been given more time I would have shown you around some more, or at least have had accompanied your tea time instead of having to do the usual round of endless noble paperwork. You also witnessed me in such a rushed state; I do hope we can both forget you seeing me in my sleeping garments at the entrance.

Apart from the awkward timing I hope your visit was enjoyable, and that you found what you were looking for in the way of information. Hopefully you did not find too much, leaving me to fill in the voids with a proper walk-around next time? Though I do ask that you give the warning further in advance.
