Unwelcome Company

The sun was just rising, the sun just peeking its head into the sky to cast it’s morning glow over all the living and nonliving things that were out and about already. Small critters stretched out in the snow, used to the winter terrain the boys had been traveling through, off to find their breakfast and escape some predators using wit. Though early, it was still a good day.

Especially for the fire hybrid, who was laying and listening to the morning winter birds sing along to the pleasant rays of sunshine he could feel on his face from the open window. Yao thought nothing could go wrong today, it wasn’t not the best but it was by far one of his favorite days so far in the wintery time that left most of them inside to avoid the cold.

Sure, it was still cold outside so he was sitting near the high flames in the fireplace, and he had been stripped of his metal bits for cleaning, but aside from that it was a good day. With all his ‘clothes’ gone, he was left as a red and naked blob bundled under some very warm blankets that were on the couch. They were recently washed and folded oh so nicely to be put away by Kaz when he came back from shopping, but the hybrid had took it upon himself to get them off the couch he wasn’t usually allowed on so he could be wrapped in the nice and warm plush things.

Revving happily, he felt a deep sigh form as Kaz announced he was home. It wasn’t that rider he was displeased with though, as the loud feline dragon made his greeting too. Bouncing around the house with his siren noises that called Ix from his tinkering room. The ginger nor brunette seemed to pay mind to the loud one. Who soon spotted Yao and went right over. They had a love/hate relationship, with both aiming to annoy the other.

With the riders being all love-y and gay, it left the other two dragons to stare at each other. Link creeping closer before he crawled on top of Yao and his warm. Wiggling, the dragon really wanted him off but it was no use as too much and he’d be too close to the fire. He’d never hear the end of it if he burned ALL the blankets, so alas he settled down. Squinting at the feline that laid triumpedly on him.
