Aurora

Laying on a high mountain, Star had wanted to wander off on her own and learn more on how to fly and use her dark magic and found herself above all the land. It was kind of scary at first but soon she felt... comforted looking down and seeing everything look so small. The big and tall trees seemed so tiny now, just small buds down below her. Even the big wild dragon she had weaved away from now looked so much cuter and smaller, but she had learned it was not best to try and make friends with that one. Much to her sadness, but maybe she’d still try and see if it just needed a different approach taken to please the wild one.

For now, she was enjoying the sky that was filling with colors, at first it was just a dark sky full of fading in stars and the light moon, but as it got darker other colors had started to come in. Colors like pink, green, and a little bit of purple that faded out near the edge. It was so pretty and reminded her a little bit of her colored face. Settling her head down on her front legs, she loved the slight breeze too, it just rustling her mane as if trying to pet her fluffy hair. It had her purring so nicely from the motion as she watched the beautiful sky. In her own pleasant world, she didn’t hear the crunching of the snow as another approached, thankfully a nice other she met before and had spotted her when he was out and about.

“Hello Astarte, what are you doing uh here?” The lower tone asked, the big multi eyed deer approached slowly and chuckled to himself as she jumped, surprised she wasn’t alone anymore.

“Oh! Uh, L-lochan?” She questioned, knowing the other had introduced himself and been so kind to her, but she was a good nervous girl.

“Yes, I am Lochan, stargazing?” He asked as he approached and laid near her, folding one arm over the other as he looked at the nicely colored sky. “Oh, it’s an aurora, they’re rather rare for here. It’s quiet pretty.”

“Y-yeah! I saw it when I was having a rest.” She agreed, looking back to the sky and slowly started settling down as she knew the other would mean her no harm and just happened to be so nice to her.

“Not as pretty as you are though, I think your colors are nicer. Mind if I watch it with you?” The flirty dragon casually added in, getting a blush from the female who shook her head no, hiding her face for a moment but still was enjoying this sight, maybe a little bit more with the company.
