Tyke Duan

everybody's favorite basement otaku. tyke is a second generation immigrant to fogmere, living in a small appartment above his parents' restaurant. with his species comes a rather... unconventional cuisine, for the store is stocked primarily with creatures like reptiles and insects. with fogmere's eccentric range of species, every nook and cranny is like a goldmine!

but still, tyke is having some trouble adjusting to it all. since graduating from high school, he still hasn't figured out what he wants to do. sure, cooking is fun and all, but he doesn't feel like he has what it takes to take over the family restaurant. especially not in the charisma department. he's incredibly awkward and self conscious, with interests he knows other people will just think of as weird. he's really into idols, but despite his huge stash of merch, somewhere still finds the nerve to be embarrassed about it. but honestly? being locked in the house all day with nobody to talk to but strangers in chatrooms, and virtual girls he doesn't even want to date (despite them being marketed as such)... it's only making his depression worse. but what else is he supposed to do? go out and make friends? oh sheesh, no way, he'll totally ruin that. college? what would he even do? a job? no, it all sounds so stressful... he'll stay inside, after all.
