an unfortunate soul. the epitome of "did not sign up for this". scott can't seem to catch a break, as life keeps dragging him into all sorts of trouble. paranoid, and a skeptic.
since the incident of his brother donovan's unexpected death, scott has been looking for answers since the day it happened. a man who delved too deep, and whose developing schizophrenia did not much help with the overload of knowledge he received during his investigation. though police investigation had long since stopped, scott believes his brother was not in fact murdered by any sapient entity, but rather something beyond sapient. scott is obsessed with the supernatural for this very reason and keeps avid records of anything related to it, be it mythos, magic, or everything in-between.
scott is a sensitive, fragile person. he does not trust people very quickly, due to fear of being hurt, one way or the other. poor social skills aside, he tries to be kind, and puts those he trusts before himself. he's in a constant state of nerves, and often struggles to keep himself together. his manic interest in the supernatural can lead him to naivete, as he's eager to believe and chase anything he thinks will help him reach his goal.

his life takes a turnaround, when one faithful night in outpatient, someone claiming to be a deity reached out to him in a dream, pleading for his help. Convinced it is his destiny, he gives his everything to chase this mysterious entity to the ends of the universe, if he must. with the help of some of his newfound friends and a welcoming coven, scott sets out to train as a witch, but... is it truly destiny he's chasing?
