Piko

an incredibly fraudulent traveling merchant lad who is BEGGING you to buy his wares. he is most definitely very polite and has never told a lie :)

has a set of poisoned knives that you'd see if you're not careful. Piko has never been one to fight, so these are mostly for self-defense with a bit of getaway pizazz. the poison in question isn't deadly, just leaves you nauseous, disoriented, and without your coin pouch.

heavily dislikes the smell and taste of alcohol (tried it one time, regret), as well the regulars of those taverns. damn you, for having the luxury to spend your money poorly!

sometimes he sits on the tavern's roof at night, sipping a brimming cup of appy juice and listening to the bard's fantastical performance through a cracked window. 'cause that's what real men drink.

he loves festivals, bustling markets, or anywhere extravagantly decorated. it's the rich, flamboyant colors that do it for him, with things like vividly dyed fabric, plumed hats, or rows of colorful spices being his favorites. it isn't a thieves' eye at all, just aesthetically pleasing.

Piko has a large collection of shinies, varying from jewelry or trinkets made out of precious metal to things he's picked up along his journey that seem far, far more valuable (or dangerous) than they look.

there's a peculiar stone that he likes - when you shine light on it a certain way, thin, glowing rainbow stripes seem to appear. he sets this as an example piece and says it's a fairy egg. (fairies don't hatch in eggs, but... shopkeepers tell lies to make their products popular, and so will he!)
