his friend Maxus - the swordsman who everyone thought was completely mute - chooses to selectively speak around him and nobody else so that they think he's crazy. it is funny, however, that whenever Maxus says something casually to add onto a conversation, it takes everyone a few seconds to realize that he SPOKE

afraid of slimes to an incredible extent. hearing him scream and then various minigun noises is commonplace, his friends knowing what's happening most of the time. especially Sylvan.... even he struggles to contain the slimes' horde mentality to attack Brimst because he guns one down in front of them...
