Traded his soul for immeasurable knowledge of this world. Mortals, especially, should not delve too deeply into such topics, but for the sake of keeping the world at balance and also knowing juicy eldritch god drama, it’s a win. He's now the physical tie to the Guardian, but never really lets its hellish whispers get to him. Because it now shares a human body with Brant, he can threaten to eat an entire cactus and it'll shut right up. The Tabasco sauce day was not a good day for either of them.

Likes to mess with Arlotto by telling him about completely fake things that lie in the cavern depths. He spices up the tale by calling it a "grand treasure of this world" and adding a fake prophecy or some garbage like that. Arlotto is easily motivated by legendary artifacts, and falls for his lies every single time - at this point, he shakes Brant by the shoulders and begs for the truth whenever that guy begins to talk. Arlotto is still very sensitive about his discovery that he, in fact, wasn't the great Chosen One, nor the consequences of that title... oh, to be the legendary hero foretold for centuries and not some random guy with a sword...
