Lee Schmedrick's Links
I owe Conner and his family my life, and I certainly don't know where I'd be now or if I would've survived had he not rescued me that day. I'm honored to call him one of my closest friends.
Lee's been a close friend of mine ever since I happened to save him from those ransomers. He's definitely out of his element in the middle class world, but he's adjusting well enough, and his conversations and musical expertise are refreshing.
Don't even speak of that boorish, uneducated, ill-tempered ruffian in my presence. The mere mention of him could make my rotting skin crawl even more so. Me, his close friend? Perish the thought.
That guy is a tea-sipping, pretentious, elitist prick who's too much of a privileged, pretty-boy, prudish rich snob to know anything about the real world. No, I'm not his close friend. Who told you that?
A prime example where passion can be just as effective as professional training when it comes to a skill. It's actually quite refreshing to be able to talk about the technical aspects of music with someone.
Coming up with lyrics and basic melodies is usually pretty easy for me, and the bulk of my time was put into filling out all the other parts of the songs. Lee has definitely made the process a lot smoother. Although music comes naturally to me, his professional training makes everything sound more developed, and we've been able to make more songs and albums because of it.
Jasper tends to follow me around like a lost puppy. I know I lived quite a privileged life before living here, but Jasper is a rather startling and eye opening example of how bad it can really be. He's taken to me a lot better than I would've expected. I can only hope we can show him what a real family and what real love is, because he still believes all those things his mother did to him were justified somehow.
Lee is the best. He teaches me lots of things. I really, really like Lee. He's just so smart and nice and has a pretty voice. He has a beautiful mind.
I don't know what you're talking about. There's nothing between us. Why would there be? Besides, why would someone so keen on having a family some day ever give her love to someone dead? You're demented if you think that would ever work... It... just... wouldn't work...
I beat up Shank until he told me why Lee gets so touchy whenever people talk about him and me. Apparently he might have said I'd never love someone whose kisses would probably taste like corpse. Who says that? You don't say that to people! Besides, Lee tastes like earl grey...
Mother, I know you must be worried sick about me. I'll find a way back to you and father some day, but I must admit... I have concerns that once I'm home, I'll not be allowed to leave again, judging by your overbearing tendencies...
Lee, my darling and the light of my unlife, I pray for your safety.
I've always known that mother is significantly more... cunning... than father. She had her sketchy projects, she would resort to much less humane tactics to reach her goals... and she had this agent to carry out the work she'd never mention in detail...
Wherever you may be, young master, I will find and bring you home. Your parents will worry no more.
She seems to be one of the few people I can talk freely about "morbid" topics around. You'd think the other ghosts would be more accustomed to such things, but I suppose it's more acceptable among Vey than ghosts.
I could listen to him talk about necromancy all day.
Genevive probably means well, but she's a little too... excitable.
What? I'm a ghost. You can't blame me for digging another member of the undead.
I didn't realize there was a community that knew about the Eternity here on Taliac, and so close by. I could've returned home so soon after... but I suppose it was for the best that I didn't.
How the heck did Taliac security let a gang smuggle a Vey aristocrat from Transvana here? We seriously need to reevaluate protocol, because we should've caught this poor kid before they even stepped on Taliac soil.
It's... more than a little shocking to see what the struggling lower class is like. The similarities are obvious though... She's just as dedicated and caring as my own mother, so wealth has little to do with happiness in the grand scheme of things. I'm sure it would certainly help alleviate the stress though...
I don't think I've really interacted with anyone from a rich family, and Lee certainly acts the part. He seems a little... more traditional than I would've expected, but they've mentioned it's because he's foreign. He seems very polite though.
I couldn't really imagine low class life until Alec started coming over to use the shower because their water was turned off or sleeping over because there's vermin trying to encroach on his sleeping quarters... His entire existence was a bit of a crash course.
I... don't do well with dead stuff and zombies and whatnot... Lee seems fine though, since you can barely tell he's even undead on most days. He's a zombie aristocrat of all things, so yeah, I guess he's the type to take care of himself.
I don't know what it's like to have any siblings, but Derek seems to care very much about his brother. I can only imagine how worrisome it can be to try and take care of each other when you're all struggling...
Hm, Lee's the odd rich kid in this kinda dumpy part of town. He sticks out like a sore thumb, but he seems okay so far.
Jessica seems a bit too demure to make much of an impression, but she and Conner seem perfectly compatible with each other.
Lee is pleasant enough to talk to. He's probably a little too high class for me though, but he and Conner get along so well.
*rolls eyes* It must be some Taliac notion that zombies eat brains... Taliac zombies must have low standards then, not even our servants eat that trashy organ. I wouldn't expect a person like Ashley to understand that though.
Never would've guessed this prissy rich boy was a zombie. Don't picture him as the brain-eating type.
Eksel are an odd sort, but those who are even aware of their existence often associate them with those of Transvana. The dead and the Vey have nothing in common, so I haven't the slightest where that notion originated from.
A friend of my master. I am not familiar with the capabilities of the Vey. However, it is clear that he displays more unnatural abilities than the rest of Master's allies.
I prefer not to inquire much about Volkmar's father. He seems like an unsavory sort, so I opt to not say anything about it considering how highly Volkmar thinks of him, for whatever reason...
I dunno much about Vey, but Volk says he's got a zombie pianist in his band, and he's a blue blood. I guess that's a good enough gimmick, right?
I appreciate the hospitality that Oskar and his family have provided while I’m stuck here. Oskar is very much a different kind of parent compared to my own. He very much encourages independence and figuring things out on your own, although he’s always around for guidance. I’ve… never really had to do much on my own at home… It’s very different.
I hope that Lee can find a way to get home soon. I don’t really know how to get contact with Transvana, and I haven’t left Taliac since my childhood, so I’m not sure what other methods of leaving here are available. For now I hope he can be comfortable here.
