Abel's Links
My master whom I am contractually obligated to protect from Eksel threat and interference and ensure that his inevitable death is of causes outside of Eksel influence.
My guardian devil of sorts. He keeps them from killing me, and I give him blood when he needs more strength to combat them. If he can keep them from killing me so I can die some natural death, then I'll owe him my soul. I'm starting to regret that line in the contract now that I know the consequences of that...
He claims to have been my kin in life, but based on the animosity he has shown me and my master, I cannot say for certain how truthful the claim may be.
That filthy cheat who stole my chance at life. What did he do to deserve to live any more than I did? But now I'll make him wish he had died that day.
He is important to my master, therefore it is in my best interest to ensure his safety as well.
He's Volkmar's silent guardian devil. Apparently he talks to Volk all the time, but not like I can hear any of that. Kind of eerie when he's around, but he's a pretty cool guy I guess.
He is an Original. The first of the Originals, in fact, and he appears to be aiding Kain for some reason. I am uncertain of his loyalties and motivations thus far.
You may never know what I mean, but I am truly sorry for what I've done to you.
It is in my best interest to ensure this boy's safety due to his significance to my master.
He's a little unnerving, knowing that he's always there watching Volkmar, even if you can't see him. He seems okay though...
A friend of my master. She often offers unwise advice to him that would unnecessarily put him into conflict, so I do not believe her guidance is trustworthy.
Volk's got some creepy invisible suit of armor guy that creeps on him all the time so other monsters don't creep on him instead. Considering how much I creep on Alec, I can't really say that's a bad thing to me.
Master describes his relationship with this particular friend of his as "complicated." I do not believe her excessive affection toward him is particularly complicated, save for the the emotional factors that I am unfamiliar with.
Volkie's got a spoopy silent statue guy keeping an eye on him so all those other devils don't kill him. Wonder what he looks like under that mask...? Does he even have a face?
As one of my master's most valued kin, it is in my best interest to take his safety into consideration as well if applicable to the situation. He appears to have his own set of troubles that often contribute various factors of risk to situations involving both of them.
I always thought Abel was some kind of imaginary friend of Volk's when he was a kid that he just... kept around for a long time. I didn't see anything wrong with it if it helped him cope, but I didn't think it was an actual... invisible guy just lurking around... On one hand I'm glad he's looking out for my cousin, but on the other hand, that's really creepy.
As one of my master's most valued kin, it is in my best interest to take her safety into consideration as well if applicable to the situation. She seems more capable of avoiding risky situations and handling them efficiently than the rest of their familial unit.
Does this guy just watch the house all the time whenever Volkmar's here? Because if so, I don't know if I'm okay with that. I mean, I'm okay with the guardian stuff, but does he take privacy into consideration? I'd think he and Volk would've had a talk about that by now though...
I am uncertain of the precise reasoning at this point in time, but the presence of my master's father is... highly unsettling to me, among other Eksel. Others display a pattern of vacating the area while he is present, and even I do not linger unless necessary.
Volk tells me he's got some guardian devil keeping an eye on him so those other bastards don't pick him off as easy prey. I know he's usually invisible and all, but I still haven't seen him once. Volk says he always runs off when I'm around, like all those other devils. Can't say I blame em. Only idiots with a death wish stick around when I walk in.
A friend of my master. I consider his presence in itself to be a rather high risk factor regarding my master's safety due to purely his questionable behavior. He is competent at handling non-Eksel related threats however, which is beneficial during situations in which I am unable to intervene.
Abel is weird, but I guess he's not bad. I guess he keeps the Diva happy with the whole devil situation.
A friend of my master. He appears rather unstable at irregular intervals, however I do not believe he is of significant risk.
Volkmar armored friend is kinda spooky. We can never hear him, but Volk says he's a little too polite. How can you be too polite?
A friend of my master. I am not familiar with the capabilities of the Vey. However, it is clear that he displays more unnatural abilities than the rest of Master's allies.
Eksel are an odd sort, but those who are even aware of their existence often associate them with those of Transvana. The dead and the Vey have nothing in common, so I haven't the slightest where that notion originated from.
She is as intangible to the mortal realm as I am, perhaps even more so considering she cannot cross over. While my duties consist of preventing my master's death, hers appear to be reactionary in the event of her brother's death.
I can't hear him and usually can't see him, and he can't hear or see me ever. We're just... aware of each other, I guess. We make Alec and Volkmar seem like weirdos who talk to themselves too much.
It is possible that her loyalty to Kain may be feigned. Kain appears to be emotionally driven, and it seems likely he is easily overlooking how unconvincing her behavior is.
Kain really has it out for him. He's all he ever rants about.
I would prefer to not have any further interactions with this particular Eksel.
Oh Abel, I have not yet tasted of your deepest suffering... too soon were you ripped from my grasp. How I long to pick up where we left off...
It is an unwise choice to engage in combat with an Eksel of this caliber.
This whelp isn't worth my time. I only bother with those who could put up a reasonable fight.
Her persistence in pursuing my master is concerning, and she has proven to be a consistent threat while in Flipside.
This faceless pest is quite the thorn in my side.
As long as he continues any threatening behavior toward my master, it is crucial to remain wary about him.
Usually the Eksel who take on purely human forms tend to be the weakest, since if you don't use your Manipulation then it's assumed you don't know how to. This one is peculiar. He seems even more vulnerable than some of the kids around here without that Whisperer of his.
She does not appear to be a threat despite being an Eksel. I would still practice caution in my master's presence however.
What an odd young thing. He doesn't seem to know much about how this Eksel thing works... or maybe he does and he just doesn't have it down yet.
I lack the proper quantity of observation to fully assess this Eksel's potential risk.
That's a neat look. Wonder if he came up with it himself.
I am uncertain which actions may be attributed to her and which were merely a farce. Master does not appear to know either.
I feel that Volkmar cares for this "mere guardian" of his more than he lets on. And this silent guardian must have a reason for his diligence, no?
I do not believe she is a significant threat to my master. These Eksel seem more interested in other goals and do not appear likely to create more victims out of current Devil Whisperers.
It's weird that Volkmar actually has a good relationship with an Eksel. Some of us encounter neutral ones at least, but it seems odd to see one actively protecting a Whisperer. He might be better off taking his soul now while he has the chance.
This Eksel appears to be very low threat. He seems incapable of accessing his Eksel Manipulation as well, to a lesser degree than even I am capable of.
I don't know what to think of Abel. He doesn't look trustworthy, but then again he can't exactly change shape. That may make him more trustworthy than most other Eksel.
This Eksel appears to be of low threat level, although he is more capable of using his Eksel Manipulation than many other similar Eksel he is in company with.
He kinda reminds me of the types of characters Troy would draw. I might have to try a form out like that some time.
