He has no memories of his past, except that he senses that he was perhaps a very lonely kid...

- Furumaki Ohtsuki is not her real name. It was made up by Nao.
- Unlike Hitoki, who loves human foods outside of plants and seafood, Furumaki is flatly neutral to it. She hates WcDonalds at lot though, do not take her there.
- She does like to fish.
- However, she really enjoys parfaits. "Human delicacies can be competent."
- She won't admit it to Nao, but she likes those "animated flashing pictures" and "anamays" she watches.
- Despite being forced to half of the time by Nao, she is quite the photographer and videographer.
Whenever she manifests her human form through Nao's hair, she always seems to form a pair of scissors in her hand along with it, despite it having no actual use. Surely that must mean something...?

Best friends until the end. At first, Kirai only faked being friends in order to garner less suspicion on her true intentions in the outside world. Hotaru's innocence and childlike nature, which Kirai missed having herself, did eventually grow on her and considers Hotaru her first friend and only best friend, and considers Hotaru the only one that could possibly understand her feelings. Hotaru loves playing with Kirai and almost always wants to hang out, and is happy that there is a child Void just like him. He feels less alone on a scale of relatability. Because of their friendship, it stung the both of him upon Kirai's betrayal, but Hotaru still believed in her humanity and knew deep down Kirai knew that the outside world made her happy because she learned there's more to life than mindless survival. Also he shot her with a fucking god shattering laser to save earth btw
They both enrolled in all the same schools and became inseperable after Kirai realized the outside world is fun with friends like her around. They eventually graduate college together andddddd theennnn have no clue what to do with their life afterwards. At least they have video games and funny memes for them to lose their shit over until they figure out something

When it comes to babysitting when Suzume decides to take a quick odd job (or go get drunk with Wakadori,) Ouka and Hime (and Aoki) are typically the only ones available and don't make a really stupid excuse. Ouka and Hime love the little guy for sure, and loves taking him out wherever they (and Aoki) go. They're like the really fun aunt and uncle for Hotaru and Hotaru loves every single bit of it. Ouka and Hime wish that ONE OF THE VOIDS can take him in more than like once bimonthly like Hotaru is such a sweetheart like come on
Suzume sometimes will drop Hotaru off at the 7-11 though and Ouka and Hime just. Have to deal with it. Bring your child to work day I guess!
"Miss Nodoka! I love Miss Nodoka!"
Hotaru feels happy with Nodoka. While he also had undeniable aversion to her upon first manifesting, all it took was one hug and for Nodoka to say that he was safe now for him to become a little attached, and will sometimes go to her for guidance about school and general lifestyle stuff. Epitome of "can I play games on your computer" towards her.
"Mommy! She makes the best food and she's so funny!"
Just a strange family. Not much to say here except they both love each other very much. Suzume is happy she can give Hotaru a mother he strongly deserves.
