Roman ([Links]Relationships)

Hag

Profile

  Family

??? (Biological mother) - Neutral. Mommy (as she calls herself in her clunky, cutesy Japanese) is too much of an extrovert for Ro-chan...   Of course he loves his mom, and will always try to make time for her, but there is something that bothers him personally about her view on life, and how she treats everyone around her so carelessly. Maybe he's just worried that it reminds him of himself.
??? (Biological father) - Neutral. Roman knows his father judges him, and while Roman is certain his dad has no idea what he gets up to, he can't help but feel the distinct level of disappointment from him due to his choices... He's probably projecting. But his dad has always been a bit of a distant kind of guy.

  Romantic

Node (Customer...?) - On-and-off positive. Node might've been one of Roman's first mainstays. And though most of his other 'friends' have come and gone, Node is still here. Roman appreciates the loyalty, even when he's bumped prices up and has heard an earful; the old man still hasn't turned tail and ran. Maybe there's times Roman slips up on accident and lets Node have a freebie, but it's not like Roman's getting nothing from their relationship too. He enjoys taking care of Node, but only sometimes... He's not the best at it, and maybe it'd be more appropriate to say Node is taking care of him. Their genuine personal history is complicated. Every time Node gets unreasonably jealous, Roman pulls way, way, WAY back. But he's scared of how Node can make him feel all sorts of things, especially when he's not sure if he's any different than all the other people Node has been with and thrown to the curb.
Ryuzuo (Friends with benefits) (AU) - On-and-off positive. There is a lot about the way Ryuzuo carries himself that Roman admires and adores... But then there's the way Ryuzuo can sometimes treat Roman that he detests. This ouroboros of an argument is how Ryu manages to stir up all of Roman emotions. Oh, no problem, don't be intimidated by the grouchy yakuza, just take the money and run. Well, Roman tries. It's never that easy, is it? And it's horrible that Roman adds fuel to the fire, willingly going back to Ryu himself. Absolutely his one pleasure and pain of a relationship.
Ueda (Customer) - Somewhat tense. Ueda-san is a bit much for Roman, always always always wanting to party until daybreak. He pays handsomely, so of course Roman prefers to spend time with the man, but he's clearly dangerous in more ways than one. He can't really trust Ueda. Then again, if he were being truthful with himself, he'd know that is exactly why he keeps allowing Ueda to give him business. Roman kind of loses himself when staying over with him, and he can't say he dislikes that sensation... But it's clear that he can't stick to such a lifestyle.
Connor (Friends with benefits) - Positive. One of Roman's favorite customers... So much that they turned into a thing for a bit-- it's cooled off, and they're still friends, with, ahem, a few perks. Connor always treats him anyway, even if he hadn't offered to pay in the first place. It's the lack of worry that Roman loves so much about this man. He can just relax when around Connor, which Roman's never really been able to say about anyone else. So basically, Connor is perfect, and Roman already knows he cannot have him all to himself. Life sucks.
Asahi (Customer...?) (AU) - On-and-off negative. Does Roman know that Namiki-san has no money? Absolutely not. Classic case of the experienced con out-conning the neophyte. He can be so crass but Roman is weak to the forwardness of his approach. Roman doesn't appreciate being treated so inhumanely, however. If he ever grows a backbone and confronts Asahi about lack of full payment, he'd be happy to leave him behind. But in the meantime... Their chemistry is pretty addictive.
Yoto (Customer) (AU) - Positive. Well, it took a while for Roman to understand how passionate and ambitious Yoto could be-- and a whole lot of money... He's surprised he hasn't bled the yakuza dry, honestly. But that's one nice perk to the fun they have. He's smoldering hot, and quite rough, but always smooths it out with a doting type of affection that Roman can't get enough of. It melts away all of his worries about Yoto being such a bad boy.
Francesca (Customer) (AU) - Somewhat positive, a little awkward. Roman can find the beauty in an older woman, especially one that knows what she wants. It especially is wonderful when he gets to be himself-- Fran seems to enjoy when he dresses up. But sometimes... Fran can be a little cold... Is Roman being too clingy? Isn't this what Fran pays for, though? She's so confusing. He often is too self-conscious around her to spend more time with her.
Baby (Customer) (AU) - Positive. A silly guy that can barely provide. Roman knows he should take better care of himself and his time, but honestly, Johnny is way too funny to leave behind. (He also has yet to realize that Johnny and Node are related...)
Jackie (Customer) (AU) - Mostly positive. Jackie rolls out the red carpet for Roman, of course he loves this man! And boy, does he know how to enjoy himself. The only thing Roman actually hates about Jackie is his occupation. Why does he hurt himself for fun? It's horrible! The secret he'll go to his grave with is being proposed by Jackie, and him turning it down because he wouldn't pick Roman over his job. It was a humiliating moment for the both of them. But they worked out their differences and still go on a date, from time to time.

  Friendships

Iwa - Awkward but amicable. Matushima-san is a bit of an odd guy. He's a little bit shy, but Roman can't blame him. Instead, he tries to help Iwa be a little more open, as well as offer any help regarding learning English. He can't really say if it's working, though... Life in America must be hard for him.
Joey - Friendly, but rife with sexual tension. Roman wasn't born yesterday, he knows what Joey wants. But he also wants it for free? No thanks. Besides, Joey is actually kind of funny, and makes for a good party friend. Roman just has to pull away that roaming pervert hand every 30 minutes, no big deal.
Sorata (AU) - Positive, a little romantic..? So they've 'shared' a man, who cares! Sorata is gorgeous and sweet. Roman has a lot of fun with Sorata; he likes being able to let his hair down around him, too, instead of having to treat him like a customer. Roman often gets a bit overzealous and tries to get Sorata to take a walk on the wild side, though. He seems hesitant about it every time, which makes it all the more fun. He's surprised they haven't tumbled further into a more physical relationship, honestly.

  Enemies

Travis - Tense, awkward. Node's poor old son really gets under his skin! There has been an interaction or two that leaves a sour taste in Roman's mouth-- namely, Travis's need to eavesdrop, then start throwing out his unwanted opinions every time Node has Roman over, even if he's just about to leave. What is this kid expecting, for Roman to not kiss Node goodbye? Grow up.
Bennett - Hostile. He can try all he wants to threaten prostitution charges, but they'd never stick. So deranged what some people will do to try and get a free night with him. It's always the cops, too. Roman tries his best to avoid Ben.
Sam - Unspoken hostility. Roman can see in Sam's eyes that he is considered with contempt. Go look to your dad if you want to be grossed out.
Ray - Ray can't afford Roman so he thinks it's fun to take it out on him, for some reason. Roman hates crossing paths with Ray-- he's no better than a high school bully.
