Angelique has a very scientific way of doing things. If something odd happens, she’ll do her best to try and get results again to see what happens. People think that she’s a little bit nuts, and definitely a little bit reckless. She’ll do something people tell her not to just to see what happens. It’s a miracle she’s survived this long.
When it comes to people she likes, Angelique is extremely supportive. Like, over the top, celebrating anything she can kind of supportive. She absolutely adores people, and wants to make them feel good about everything. However, her efforts can come off as super pushy and unwanted at times. Although it does sting, she takes it in stride.
After all, Angelique is an extremely chill person. She’s never been fond of drama, so she just takes life as it comes to her. She’s great at rolling with the punches. Little sibling can’t hang out because their kid is sick? No biggie, she’ll find something else to do. Plus, she can make almost any situation fun, and if she can’t she’ll be as comforting as possible.
Angelique has a weird mix between analytical thinking and creative thinking. Her thought process is hard to follow - her weird mix of numbers based and do whatever you want based thinking doesn’t make sense to others. However, she gets great results that are unparalleled by most people. So, even if she doesn’t make sense, she’s great to be friends with.
Angelique is no doormat. She’s had to stand up for herself many times, and knows how to get people to leave her alone. Although she can seem spacey at times, she has a grounded sense of reality and knows just what to say to get people to leave. And if that doesn’t work? Well, Angelique packs a mean right hook.

- Angelique can summon a horn from her gemstone in order to perform magic.
- Angelique’s hair has the mysterious ability to float. It’s still hair, it’s just like some ethereal wind is picking up and carrying it.
- Angelique has a star-shaped gemstone, making her an uncommon auracorn.
- Angelique’s sclera are a shimmery blue, contrasting with her brilliant yellow irises that have barely visible pupils.
- Angelique likes to wear incredibly elaborate outfits, usually dresses. She has a fondness for the color blue and also belts.

- Angelique researches magic for the Organization, specifically magic relating to space because outer space doesn’t exist in the Golden Isles, and yet there are cosmeows who come and go. What’s up with that?
- Angelique has a collection of fish. She takes good care of them, and her favorites are the ones that glow.
- Angelique spends a long time getting her hair to stay in place - it always tries to float away.
- Angelique is light sensitive, so she has a collection of prescription sunglasses that she wears.
History
As a child, Angelique expected to go through her life as an only child. After all, it wasn’t until she was 11 that her little sibling Lumiere was born. When they were born, however, Angelique took on the role of overly supportive big sister with gusto.
Lumiere’s having trouble with friends? No worries, she’d be there! They’re getting into magic? She’ll be at every show. Although she had troubles of her own, she was able to stand her ground all by herself.
Of course, she was a grown adult long before Lumiere was out of school. From a young age, she had been fascinated by the concept of stars. She spent quite a while on studying everything she possibly could about them, even spending her higher education on it when most people said she wouldn’t do anything with her life with this degree.
Angelique proved them all wrong. During college, her research papers and experiments got the notice of Galen, who deliberately sought her out and offered her a position in the Organization. Her skills would be invaluable, after all. Angelique, of course, accepted. Good pay, good benefits, amazing research opportunities and more!
Although she couldn’t disclose the nature of her work to her family, Angelique kept up a strong relationship with them. She’s been nothing but supportive of their wonderful family, and adores her little niecephew, Kiran. Of course, they don’t know what she actually does - they all think that she does archival work. No biggie, of course. Everything else she’s been truthful about.

In all honesty, Galileo is one of Angelique’s favorite people. She’s eccentric, brilliant, and oh so clever. Sure, she might be a bit of a disaster, but isn’t everyone sometimes? Angelique adores Galileo so much, and Galileo loves her back. Galileo may not be big on verbal affection, but she shows her love in other clear communication and many acts of service. Angelique adores that and says many, many of the “I love you”s in the relationship.
Angelique is the perfect example of an overly supportive older sister. She adores them so much! Although she’s over a decade older than them, the two are extremely close. They help each other out when times get rough. Angelique admires their ability to learn new skills quickly and tries to show up to every single show they do.
Angelique is quite fond of Taz - if Lumiere hadn’t gotten there first she absolutely would’ve tried to get with her. Of course, she’s nothing but respectful now, and the two have a close friendship.
Angelique can’t help but be amazed by what Persephone can do. Her dancing is absolutely spectacular! Plus, she can fly. Angelique secretly wishes she could fly. Beyond that, they enjoy each other’s company and go out for tea occasionally.
Angelique adores Kiran quite a lot. They have to put up with this adoring, overbearing aunt while they’re just trying to do guardian things. However, she is genuinely sweet and helpful. Sometimes, Kiran goes to Angelique for advice on things that Lumiere or their other moms can’t quite deal with. She’s good at helping them out.
Angelique is fond of Reina. Although Angelique is technically Reina’s superior, they see each other more as peers than anything else. Often times, they can be found collaborating on fascinating projects together. To be honest, Angelique is kind of an enabler for Reina’s hyperfixation on magic. She’s totally willing to work with Reina for hours on stuff like that.
Cooper is absolutely brilliant at what he does, there’s no doubt about it. Angelique has no idea how he can do what seems like such a dull task every day. However, he seems to like it quite a lot. Beyond that, Angelique thinks he and Reina are excellent together - they balance each other out quite a lot. They don’t interact a lot outside of work and Reina.
Angelique is both impressed by and terrified of Amera. They’re so… cold. No pun intended of course. She appreciates all that Amera does for the Organization, though, even if she’d rather be caught dead than spend any time alone with them.
Miriam is… really creepy. Angelique is aware of how much she does for the Organization, but she can’t help but subconsciously avoid her. Miriam is especially worrisome since deals with the Shrines, someplace Angelique wouldn’t dare to touch.
Angelique is trying very hard to see Noona as a person and not a scientific research object. Promise. However, a lot of Noona is so alien to Angelique that they don’t connect very well, even if Noona keeps… flirting? There’s just so much to learn about Noona!
Although Angelique wouldn’t call herself Galen’s friend, she does appreciate them for all that they do. Plus, they saw potential in her interests when no one else did. Angelique is also amazed by just how much they can get done, even though they both run the Organization and are the high judge.
