President of the Aspenview Academy Newspaper Club and (unsurprisingly) editor-in-chief of the school newspaper, an aspiring journalist with an interest in ufology.

Always absorbed in whatever he's writing, his unquenchable curiosity and desire for a big break make him prone to go a little too far for a story, engaging in dangerous and borderline illegal things like trespassing in dangerous areas and even sneaking into the Kawasaras' house at dark with his close friend Mira. The story the two published after this incident provoked much of the skepticism in the town surrounding Takashi and Nozomi, though they aren't nearly as opposed to them as some other members of the student body are– Cam in particular is intrigued by them due to his existing interest in aliens, and continues to follow them closely.

Sneaky and nosy as he can be, he's a generally friendly guy if you strike up a conversation when his nose isn't buried in a notepad. He likes to joke, and has plenty to share about the topics that interest him, though his ufo- and conspiracy-centric rambles can be too much for some. He possesses exceptional leadership and organizational skills and does well in his position as club president.

Appearance

Short and stout, with pinkish skin and grey eyes. Reddish-brown hair, straight and about ear-length.

Rarely seen without his newsboy cap, which has an antenna of sorts that twitches when he's intrigued. Always has a crossbody bag on him, containing a notepad and pencil when they're not in his hands.

Often wears scarves in fall and winter. When not in his school uniform, which isn't often due to club activities, he likes to wear turtlenecks paired with long jackets.

A secondary character in Soulspace.

Will hastily scribble notes at a tremendous speed and be unable to decipher them later. Sometimes Mira can help with this.
