Buri formed the tribe of the Æsir on the world of Ásgard. His people became renowned for their fighting prowess. The Æsir have rejected many of the customs shared by the rest of the tribes of the Northern Heavens, even their Vanir and Álfar allies. This is a source of contention for all, and most infamously resulted in the Æsir-Vanir War. Oðinn is currently the high king of the Æsir.
