Horses are some of the most common mounts used across the Idavollian worlds. Their horses can run through the sky as easily as on the ground thanks to magic in their hooves. This magic is what powers their flight, and it also allows them to move faster than light and survive the vacuum of space.
Idavollian horses often have strange mutations. Extra appendages and unusual coats are some of the most common.
Valhorses are winged horses native to Asgard. They are some of the rarest mounts, and are only bred in Valhalla for select disir. Their wings are not capable of flight on their own, rather, they produce magic much like the hooves of other Idavollian horses.
The bækhest are horses that have adapted for life underwater. They are frequently tamed by the nicor and used as their mounts. Shapeshifting nicor are fond of taking on this form.
