Shortly after the Dökkálfar's exile to Svartalfheim, a schism occurred within the tribe. A small band left Svartalfheim to settle on its moon, Nidavellir, eventually becoming the Dvergar. They stand no taller than 4'10", and are highly regarded for their excellent craftsmanship. They maintain a stance of neutrality, supplying the gods and the Utangard equally.
