They're friends since they were about 8 years old! They recently went through the loss of a mutual friend.
Cseren is comfortable with Ceena's company and will often complain about the injustices she goes through, especially because of her aunt, but he's too tiny and weak to do anything about it. Deep inside, though, he's grateful Ceena puts up with him.
They're friends since they were about 8 years old! They recently went through the loss of a mutual friend.
Ceena dislikes that Cseren is so rude towards people, but would be lying if she said she dislikes all of him. They're friends for a reason! It's so easy to talk to him about anything! Plus, he does care and that means a lot to her.

Moke feels as if Brevyn is to blame for everything that happened to him. It's obvious, since he appeared as soon as his problem started, and he's been friendly too, how dare he?! He doesn't understand him, and sometimes he tries to! He tries to be gentler and less angry at him, he tries to think Brevyn is not only there to remind him of his fate, but it's hard! He can't help but lash out at him at times. Nonetheless, when he's alone he realizes it's much better to be beside someone who's a little more like him than feeling depressed on his own. But he also has a habit of pushing everyone away so that feeling doesn't stay for too long. It's a shame, but it probably doesn't matter much now...
Brevyn thinks Moke can be a friend, a novelty, someone who might work as a bridge from the tree world to the human world, the world Brevyn wants to learn from so bad.
At first, admittedly, Brevyn tried to see Moke as someone he'd parasite on later. But he doesn't like to think like that, so he focused more on befriending him and actually getting to know him. Once Moke was depressed enough, he gave him permission to drain all of his energy, but at the last second he changed his mind and apparently got an idea. Brevyn was left hungry and confused but never angry! He was more concerned than anything, especially since 'letting him drain his energy' was mostly Moke's idea at that point.
He visited them every now and then, witnessing his idea and not knowing what it implied, until one day Moke and all the other people disappeared. It was odd, he misses him a bit.
Haneul gets along with her sister perfectly! Naomi was the cutest baby when she was born and they've had a wonderful relationship! They got their hair done together, and Haneul is proud that Naomi admires her! They have good communication and share some interests, though Haneul is less resourceful and it makes her a little envious.
The only thing she disapproves is that Naomi doesn't seem 100% inclined in cutting ties with her brother.
Admires her sister a whole lot! She thinks Haneul is so mature and responsible and talented, and she's always been there for her! She used to rely a lot on her, but as she started high school it felt more natural to do things on her own, and she realized it's better that way.
Haneul is much less gullible than her, and it's something Naomi has been wanting to work on, but it's not that easy.
On the other hand, Haneul thinks she knows what Naomi is up to... But she doesn't know much, really.
Has, like, seen them sometimes but assumes it's a hallucination and ignores it, though he sure thinks they're pretty!
Should be protecting Alice- In fact, is responsible for Kei not being able to directly destroy Alice, though Kei wouldn't do it anyway. RAW sort of protects the dimension Alice is in, but sucks at their job and sucks at protecting him, and it makes them cry, but they really aren't needed... No one is pushing them to do the job... They're pressuring themself.
He... Doesn't have the patience to deal with RAW. At all. He's already bitter about what RAW did to him (they were the one to bring the bad news, in a way) but now he's just confused because, first of all, RAW should've died a while back. Secondly, why are they so insistent in protecting God and all that bullshit?? If their 'god' also did bad things to them?? He doesn't understand why they're so stubborn about it. Sometimes he wishes he could convince them by force but he doesn't want to be violent with anyone.
Like... They don't even talk or interact but Kei is pretty sure he wouldn't get along with them, he needs them to apologize and turn to his side... And then, yeah, he might accept their friendship. It's not that much to ask for.
kei sama yurushite kudasai T__T
Alice still doesn't understand what's up with Kei's angst, but he's genuinely sorry, as he can picture himself the way Kei said he was... And that's a shame.
Kei's fate made it clear for Alice that being violent and sadistic isn't good, and Alice knows Kei is constantly keeping tabs on that, since he can't help reading his mind. He's proud to know that even if he has thought of killing people or being violent, he hasn't been at all! He's been good.
And he really wants to get along with Kei. They talk every now and then, they can't communicate too well and Kei is a little mean to him but Alice guesses it's fair since all that happened to him, and still wants to get along! He accepts Kei as his family!
Kei shifts from periods of intense anger and hatred to mild tolerance towards Alice on a weekly basis. Alice represents most of the bad things Kei has gone through, and that's not something Kei can easily forget or forgive, but Alice DID say he was sorry and Kei figured it was a chance to see how their relationship goes.
He doesn't trust him much, and like with most people, thinks he's not competent or smart enough. Everytime Alice forgets something, Kei wants to facepalm so hard his face will pop off. But he tries to be patient, to at least not snap at him.
He really dislikes the fact that he keeps thinking of Alice as his mom. Especially when Teru or Arabella tease him about it!
He knows Michael dies in every reality and really really wants to help him somehow but he can't, he has tried many times and Michael will always die, even if he manipulates his existence, the moment Kei leaves that reality Michael will die again. In a way he's been egotistical because he could've stayed in many dimensions but he has been terrified of getting attached.
He just doesn't think a kid deserves something like that. Maybe he sees himself reflected in Michael a little, and definitely does not want to see him ending up with his same fate.
Plus, the kid is nice to have around! He's tsun and doesn't admit it, but it's like having a little brother and it's nice, it makes him feel appreciated.
Michael is always drawn to Kei everytime he has the opportunity. Sometimes in some realities he believes the sight of Kei is a product of his psychosis, even if he's under medication, and it's a little worrying for him, but he doesn't stop being intrigued by him.
Whenever they get to meet, Michael likes asking him questions and is aware he's a narcissist but it doesn't bother him, it never becomes something uncomfortable at all. Sometimes he wonders if it's because he's numb to abusive people or he's just like that, but in reality Kei isn't abusive with him. Cold and distant, a bit, but Michael can tell that's not his true nature.
Since they're both meme loving fucks they have a very similar sense of humor, and Michael can get surprisingly deep and talk about dark things that even Kei has trouble bringing up.
former girlfriend! they parted ways in much friendlier terms than you'd imagine. Arabella originally agreed to help him find his Final Death but actually... He's found out he's okay with it after being with her so, even if they're no longer a thing, he's thankful.
Show me, how you want it to be, tell me baby
Friendship is not a thing among demons. Or at least not among two lesser demons who were quickly disregarded. Quick to assume they should like each other because they seem to be each other's half.
It may be true, though. Aelia thinks spending time with Kerae is fun. She doesn't hate her. She doesn't like her, either. She's mostly going on raw vigor about their superiors. It's complicated for human terms, maybe not as complicated for demon terms, but still not THAT normal.
She hasn't seen Kerae since that day when they tried to betray each other. She assumes Kerae is in another dimension, and hopes she's not doing well.
Kerae lowkey flaunts about looking older, being slightly taller, and overall thinks she's cooler than Aelia. Of course, Aelia does the same; they both have the same intentions at the core, but Kerae's attitude is much meaner than Aelia's.
Despite this, she reciprocates the feelings of spending time together. She thinks Aelia is, in fact, her other half. But that's all the more of a reason to try to one-up her.
Her whereabouts are unknown, but she seems to be spending time in something different than what Aelia is doing.
Asen is CF's favorite person. Even if they're easily irritated and snap at him every now and then (which isn't enjoyable), CF is very fond of them. He wants to protect them, he doesn't want them to get hurt. He doesn't like seeing them in pain. He doesn't even understand why he wants to see them be happy, but he doesn't care for explanations like that.
While they might bicker every now and then, CF really is loyal to them.
Asen was scared at first, when everybody died except them and Californio, but it turns out CF didn't know what was going on either. Moreover, CF didn't care about Asen's appearance, which was great. CF has never been judgemental towards them, which made Asen get attached to him. They use him as a shield a lot of the time, and aren't afraid of admiting they rely on him, but there's a point where they dislike depending on him for everything.
CF is probably the person who has it easiest to embarrass and fluster Asen. It's possible that Asen develops feelings for CF, but it really is very confusing.
He thinks there is good in her, and that she's just the way she is because she's had poor guidance. He doesn't do anything to change her, since she shuts him down whenever he tries.
He SHOULD dislike her, but she's sort of his best friend! And he wouldn't wanna be without her. He probably wouldn't be ok without her, somehow, even if she's the reason his life has slowly gone to waste.
He's the first person she has ever manipulated, even before she was at least a bit aware of it. She doesn't allow him to say no to her, and constantly needs him to pay attention to her if she doesn't have anybody else. Luckily, she does have people around her most of the time so it's not like she abuses his attention anymore.
She uses him as the 'public face' most of the time (to protect her image and identity, and also because people listen to boys more), but she has more social strength than him.
The type of relation they have is purely platonic, even if Ruffles sleeps with Doritos sometimes, they're generally best friends.
Their relationship is chaotic, but they wouldn't be okay without each other.
She's sort of quiet about her feelings towards Allegria, probably because she's not 100% sure. At first, she didn't like the abuse, but she realized the abuse has been wearing down, weirdly enough.
She knows Allegria likes her, and she might like her back too. She doesn't spend too much time thinking about it, but she likes spending time with her. Something about her personality is captivating.
She's aware of the risks of being beside Allegria, and is willing to take them.
Allegria protects her from the government, and she protects Allegria from herself.
Used to constantly insult and demean her when they first met, even when she was living with her, she still would mistreat her. She figured it would be interesting to see how long it'd take for her to go away.
But with time, Noneccie didn't go away. She stayed. She was different than what Allegria thought. Allegria started to like her.
And that's dangerous. She's terrified of the fact that she likes None. She expected None to kill her, even, considering the context. But it didn't happen.
She's anxious about it, and changed the plans so they would be together a little longer. She doesn't want to part ways from the only person that has seen her as something other than a monster for years.
Thinks he's cute, cute, cute!
It's a shame they're not allowed to harass him without being yelled at. It's also a shame that being yelled at is so annoying.
Haziel is uncomfortable by Gauge
Mauna hasn't met them.
Wants to tease her about their status because they know she's frustrated about not being able to catch them. But she can be sorta scary... She's too lawful to be fun to play with.
She didn't have the chance to catch them before she received the order to NOT catch them, and she's so upset about it. She wants to throw them in jail. They're a walking offense.
Dymka periodically looks through the list of active ghost police members, and has her tabs on Zareth ever since she found out he's a shut in. And worse, that he's haunting a house!
She's very persistent, everytime she sees him, she tries to make him go to work again. She doesn't take in mind a lot of Zareth's circumstances to not want to go to work.
But she is right in thinking that he can pull through his issues if he tries. Especially because of the fact that he's being haunted by his own existence. That shouldn't happen.
Annoying, obnoxious, mind your own business!!!
Zareth values how hard Dymka is trying, but she doesn't understand. She doesn't have her memories back. It's crippling, all the guilt, the sadness, it's all too much.
Spends much more time with Haziel than with Mauna. Actually doesn't know how to handle Mauna very well. But in any case, it's not like she's too in tune with Haziel's personality. A lot of the time, she just assumes what Haziel means. She's just lucky that it's usually correct.
They're police partners. Dymka treats him as her apprentice.
Mauna thinks she's a nice lady, though he doesn't know much else about her.
Haziel is very comfortable around her. He thinks her energy is important, and backs her up as long as he understands what she's about (which, by the way, he doesn't understand a lot of the time). In his eyes, she's surprisingly skilled, and he looks up to her a lot.
Though sometimes Dymka can be a little reckless, and he doesn't like that. He doesn't want her to get hurt, no matter how skilled she is.
Experienced more or less love at first sight when she saw her, and it was a little awkward at first, but they've been together since they started dating. They live together.
They have a lot of fun together.
She loves her a lot. At first she thought it wasn't anything about fate and just a huge coincidence. She doesn't overthink it, anyway.
She's been keeping a secret from her, and it's probably going to get worse and worse as she doesn't say it, but she thinks it's for the best to not say it. They're very happy togerher.
Zareth is Mauna's favorite person, and the one Mauna relies on the most. Since he doesn't know a lot about life, he's open about relying on Zareth. But he's not that bold about his feelings, and still spends most of the time being quiet. He doesn't know that Zareth is less cranky around him.
Haziel is much more aware of what's going on between him and Zareth. He guesses it's ok that Mauna hangs out with him, and while he doesn't spend as much time with Zareth as Mauna does, he likes Zareth anyway. He's much quieter than Mauna, so it's even more difficult to get his messages accross. He doesn't know which words can help Zareth.
He's glad he met him, even if communicating can be tricky at times.
Legitimately doesn't realize his feelings about Mauna. Everytime he's beside him, he feels if he were alive again. It's all really corny, and he doesn't like it.
But he likes Mauna's company. He also likes Haziel's company, even if both of them are quiet. He does most of the talking.
The more he gets to know him, the guiltier he feels. He's not even sure why, he just feels really anxious.
Also, he's sort of thankful, because Mauna encouraged him to go outside (without even realizing he was a shut-in...)
He wouldn't want either Mauna or Haziel getting hurt. It'd be probably the only time he would use his powers without thinking.
All these ice powers and you still can't chill.
Penta thinks Dymka is way too tight-assed, yet it's sort of fun to poke at her and make her flustered. She thinks Dymka is cute, and it's a shame she's so devoted to her girlfriend. She wouldn't mind a one-night stand with her.
Regardless, they're not very compatible. Penta sometimes suggests that they're fated enemies, but they aren't. She doesn't hate her, she's mostly neutral about her.
Is so frustrated at Penta! She doesn't want to deal with her. Why, in the first place?
Penta isn't her assigned ghost or anything, so she's not really REQUIRED to deal with her, but her lawful nature urges her to care anyway. She wishes Penta would be less of a terrible person. She wants to believe Penta can be good, but is mostly disgusted by her.
However, she doesn't HATE her. She thinks about second opportunities a lot. And she's seen Penta be less awful at times. Maybe it has to do with that demon...?
Gauge is a person who gets easily attached to people, and Penta was one of them. They blamed themself for a moment, because they agreed that there was no emotional attachments.
There's still a lot of resentment left, even if they lie to Penta and to themself, but they've grown to know Penta better. She's different from what Gauge idealized, and they're okay with that.
It's just that they don't feel so close to her anymore. She's cool, though. And has a really good sense of humor. Adventuring with her is thrilling.
So... Well. They're friends, and in good terms.
They're friends, and in good terms.
She didn't know a lot of the things she did were affecting Gauge, so she's trying to be more mindful lately. But she's too reckless for that, so it doesn't work too well.
They do get along. Penta is very motherly towards Gauge and loves them dearly, in a platonic way. Gauge is one of the few people Penta is physically affectionate with.
She does want their relationship to get better, she wants to assume the adult role and she wants to help Gauge, because she knows they're troubled. But she should help herself first.
