This month we bring a bunch of new arrivals, a monthly story prompt, and some recaps of what has been going on!
A new year has dawned in Ivras: it is now year 1235! Spring has come early, and unlike last year's muddy and wet conditions, the end of winter has been quite dry, at least in the north.
The Sunless Jungle and the southern part of the peninsula has received a fair share of spring storms, disrupting some trade and made sailing difficult.
The Feast of Flowering celebrations are still going on and everyone is hoping for a good new year.

The puns and pranks are out of control!
All month long, earn double gold if you draw or write about your character as a jester or fool.

📌 notes and reminders
New rule regarding raffles and giveaways in the server:
If you want to participate in a giveaway, you are required to have at least one active* Anathema character. Entering a giveaway without an active character may mean the prize will be rerolled or invalid.
(*Active, in this case, simply means a character accepted into Anathema, as there are no actual activity requirements!)

Every month, we provide a brief narrative prompt, with four potential choices for your character to make. Draw or write your character's choice, and receive double gold for your response! Mages will earn a mystery stat point based on their choices, which will be revealed with the next month's prompt.
Prompt responses should tag this profile, and must be worth at least 1 gold of art or writing. You are allowed to submit collaborations and roleplay as responses to the monthly story prompts, but every participating character's choice must be clearly indicated for mods.

What started as a whisper has grown to a full-fledged rumor: tunnels and passageways have been discovered under the great roots of the Namarast tree. Exactly where they lead is unclear, but in any case, they could prove a useful way into Namarast.
It seems like some people could use this to their advantage...
Your character learns about these tunnels. What do they do with the information?

April 2023 Story Prompt:
The stormy season in the Southern Sea has been unusually severe this year, battering the Ivratian archipelago and the ocean beyond. Pirate activity in the area seems to have increased as well—but they, too, have to obey the whims of the weather.
Trade routes from the south have been disrupted, leaving shelves and warehouses empty. All over Ivras, merchants and traders are wringing their hands; those dealing in rare and exotic goods are especially affected, but even some common wares are missing.
