Show me your character playlists!

I have a Spotify playlist for Taro right here (it's kinda short because I'm still working on it)

i choose songs that i feel fit my characters like most ppl i suppose :0? i'm fairly picky w/ songs, actually, but here's a handful of songs w/ lyrics that i think rly suit him

Sometimes the lyrics don't even fit that well and it's more about the mood and feel of the song, but most of these are pretty spot on :)

i also have some personal playlists on my spotify account filled with songs you'd typically find on each ocs ipod. i haven't made them all yet, but i'll get to it eventually.

Character themes

I have this playlist I continuously add to, it has a general feeling to the novels my characters are from. It doesn't necessarily have to be a theme song to a character, but just feels like it would fit to the books! And of course there are plenty of theme songs I think would fit to the characters in there too haha 

I don't make playlists all that much, but I did make one for my son here. It's something of a mess but, mainly, is populated with songs that either remind me of him or songs that he would like to sing. (Is his music taste influenced by mine, or is mine influenced by what I think he'd like? *thinking emoji*) Here's a link to his spotify playlist.

Here it is! It's a bit edgy and sad but like... that's who he is lmao. (+ like 3 somewhat sappy songs about him and his boyfriend vince lmao). I'd say out of the whole playlist, Surveillance, Yuki's Death, and Silent Movies have the Biggest Sylvester Energy lol

I usually use Spotify for my playlists and I have a few on there right now (my most loved is Nejire's lol)

uhhhh pretty much all my character playlists are more along the lines of "these are songs that they'd probably listen to" rather than "these songs remind me of them," so they get a bit interesting haha

been using spotify most recently. several of my characters currently have their playlists done up to a point i'm comfortable linking, and at the top of their profiles i have them linked (i usually link the singular song i most associate with them with a single eighth note emoji, then link the playlist with the group of several notes)

in my personal files, i have playlists which are essentially meant to be soundtracks of their life; each song represents a moment from their storyline, or their emotions surrounding events from that point in their life, things like that. that's not so much true with my spotify lists; i do try to include songs that match up to important points, but they're not always in order, and they're not not exclusively meant to be soundtracks - a lot of the songs on my spotify lists just fit the character well - i try to pick songs that work both lyrically and musically for the character. i also generally try to capture a certain kind of sound, and try to emulate that with what kind of music i think they'd listen to if they had the same music to choose from that we do. Quil, for example, has a lot of Hozier and BANKS on his alongside violin tracks, while Viviani has a ton of choir music and musical numbers, and Foxglove has a lot of music from the 70s and folksy stuff.

Pizhke has a little playlist

There's not a lot of songs in there. It's folk and neofolk of finnish, estonian and livonian origin (the livonian songs being particularily cherished). I've yet to find a real "theme tune" for her so it serves as a sort of...auditory aesthetic board for her whole setting, to be played whenever I work on anything finnic folklore inspired. I feel it puts me in the right kind of mood. Most of them have a, what I feel, rather calming tone. A bit monotone, with minimalistic instrumentals. A few lullabies. 

Basically this one is based on...mood. How it makes me feel. And just being able to listen to the language going on in the background.

I have a lot of playlists and I hope got get every (favourite) OC of mine one.
It's a mix between lyrics that fit them, songs that they listen to or that remind me of them. Mostly though a mix between the first two (or even both). Most of them are spotify-playlists.

IC playlist would be this: (Youtube,spotify) Some German songs, a lot of Irish (speed) Folk, Rock'n'Roll. And a few 80s
Hermann has a playlist here. He loves The Beatles.
