Mix: The offspring of two different keke types that combines their traits into something new

🌿 Rules & Overview 🌿

🌱 Mixes are posted in order of creation (er...99% in order)
🌱 Be sure to read each guide very carefully! There are lots of little things to watch for (if you notice something missing, feel free to poke me)
🌱 In general, mixes can earn things that their parent types can (the "type + type" listing below their mix). Say we're working with a Molten Mix. They're a Goober/Shiny hybrid, so they have access to both Goober-restricted and Shiny-restricted upgrades. They could also apply the gilded special morph (some morph restrictions may apply - details will be in the mix's or the morph's description)
🌱 The above rule does not stack. For example: you breed a Soggy Mix and a Pegasi Mix. The child is a Soggy Mix. They would have access to Goober-restricted things, but not Plumie or Fawnette
🌱 Regular MYO rules apply with the exception of the following:
🌱 These types of keke must be obtained through breeding, events, etc... They are not open to make unless you've earned one!

Framed-Mix.png136: Framed Mix: Stilled + Elver
Based on a suggestion by Anhelisk!

🌿 Hatchling:
Creation > Follow the Stilled guide
Anatomy differences > The ears will be longer and more mobile than usual. Add a short, silky mane. The arms are majorly made up of fins like an Elver's, except they're lined with a metal frame. They also have a tail fin on their naga tail of the same make. Add two tiny eyes on each side of the naga tail very close to the spine
Color differences > All metal frames will match the accent color, which must be one of the allowed colors for Stills. Use your chosen accent color or a lighter version of it for the film inside the frames
Baby stuff > None
Description form > Include a 'blood type' field - Framed mixes have blood in their fins

🌿 Young:
Design > Follow the Still design rules or the Elver design rules
Matures out of > N/A
Description form > Include an 'favorite pose' and/or a 'favorite land thing'

🌿 Youth:
Usable youth upgrades > Bedhead, blotches, chubby, disappearing tail, extended arms, fading skin, gap closer, grasper fins, growth spurt, short stature, built-in bracelets, chips, rough patches, scallops

🌿 Adult:
Default morphs > Joey, fae, reach, goblin, purfle, fringed, grouper, and veiled

🍒 Framed Mixes are sem-aquatic, able to live both on land and in water. Without their need to breathe, they're perfectly capable of sitting at the bottom of a lake for weeks
🍒 Due to their time in the water, the stone Framed Mixes are made of often feels quite smooth, even soft

HannahBug

Matchstick-Mix.png137: Matchstick Mix: Furnan + regular

🌿 Hatchling:
Creation > Follow the regular guide
Anatomy differences > Make the cheek pouches slightly lumpy in shape. Add a bumpy-shaped head and a tail tuft. The ears will be triangle-shaped, but slightly lumpy instead of fluffy. Remove one of the toes (and corresponding toe-pad) and add prominent fetlock joints. All of the hair (head tuft/mane/tail tuft) will be tipped with wood
Color differences > Wood follows Furnan wood rules. All wood must be the same color
Baby stuff > Optional belly color tingeing
Description form > No change. This mix can be cold or warm-blooded

🌿 Young:
Design > Follow the regular design rules
Matures out of > Belly color tingeing
Description form > Include an "art type" and/or a "favorite hiding place" field

🌿 Youth:
Usable youth upgrades > Bedhead, blotches, chubby, color points, drowsiness, growth spurt, missing teeth, puffball spikes, short stature, arm flaps, bruise spots, extra twigs, sandy blood

🌿 Adult:
Default morphs > Joey, fae, reach, and goblin

🍒 Despite having regular morphs, Matchstick Mixes are quite small. They usually don't get taller than a foot and a half while younger age phases get closer to Fern size
🍒 These mixes don't get spicy skin when wet, but they retain a Fern's fire-flavored blood! Predators will think twice about going after these little guys

HannahBug

Pinned-Mix.png138: Pinned Mix: Furnan + Goober

🌿 Hatchling:
Creation > Follow the Goober guide
Anatomy differences > The ears are lumpy, but also kinda droopy. Remove the head tuft and mane and replace them with sticks shoved into the goo. Also add a tail tuft of sticks. The belly scales are circular. Add a spiral to the cheek pouch
Color differences > Belly scales can be one of the 3 defaults (see here) or any warm color. Goo can be any solid color. Sticks follow Furnan wood rules
Baby stuff > Optional secondary color tingeing (since Goober color restrictions don't apply, this can be any color, but all tints must be the same color)
Description form > Include a 'temperature' field instead of 'blood type'. This mix is warm by default

🌿 Young:
Design > Follow the Goober design rules
Matures out of > Secondary tingeing
Description form > Include an "art type" and/or a "favorite hiding place" field

🌿 Youth:
Usable youth upgrades > Arm flaps, blotches, bruise spots, chubby, color points, drowsiness, extra twigs, missing teeth, sandy blood, short stature, growth spurt, oil layer, sail shreds, sharp things, slippery scales, waterfall mane

🌿 Adult:
Default morphs > Joey, fae, reach, goblin, multitasker, and spook

🍒 Pinned Mixes are closer to average keke height, but still tend to be a head shorter than everybody else
🍒 When wet, a Pinned Mix's skin gets very spicy. The thing is...they're goo. They're always wet.
🍒 With a Goober's cool-only colors and a Furnan's warm-only palette, Pinned Mixes have access to all colors of the rainbow

HannahBug

Transmute-Mix.png139: Transmute Mix: Furnan + Shiny

🌿 Hatchling:
Creation > Follow the Shiny guide
Anatomy differences > The paws are more of a Fern shape with prominent fetlock joints, but they keep their pads. Cheek pouches are a summer berry shape. Instead of a bell, the tail is tipped with a large stick shape
Color differences > What would normally be the metal color (mouth, belly scales, head disks, tail stick) is now a wood color, which can be anything that Ferns allow. Wood grain can be visible, but is optional. Eyes must be a red
Baby stuff > None
Description form > No change. This mix can be cold or warm-blooded

🌿 Young:
Design > Follow the Fern design rules or the Shiny design rules
Matures out of > N/A
Description form > Include an "hoard type" and/or a "favorite hiding place" field

🌿 Youth:
Usable youth upgrades > Arm flaps, blotches, bruise spots, chubby, color points, drowsiness, extra twigs, missing teeth, sandy blood, short stature, glamorous hair, glimmering accents, mismatched metal, shimmer horns

🌿 Adult:
Default morphs > Joey, fae, reach, and goblin

🍒 Transmute Mixes are regular-sized, making them huge to their Fern parent
🍒 The stick-shaped tail tip may not be a bell, but it's still musical. It's hollow inside and if bonked on a surface, it'll make a note

HannahBug

Popsicle-Stick-Mix.png140: Popsicle Stick Mix: Furnan + Plumie

🌿 Hatchling:
Creation > Follow the Plumie guide
Anatomy differences > Add a small, feathered head tuft. The wings and tail tip are replaced with sticks (which don't have to be the same shape as above). The ears have a long point with a lumpy base
Color differences > Sticks can be anything that Ferns allow. Belly colors can be one of the default 3 or any warm color. Ears can be tipped with the accent color, but not the tail feathers
Baby stuff > None
Description form > No change. This mix can be cold or warm-blooded

🌿  Young:
Design > Follow the Fern design rules or Plumie color method B only
Matures out of > N/A
Description form > Include an "art type" and/or a "favorite hiding place" field

🌿  Youth:
Usable youth upgrades > Blotches, bruise spots, chubby, color points, drowsiness, extra twigs, missing teeth, sandy blood, short stature, bedhead, dorsal feathers, feather crest, keratin formations, talons

🌿  Adult:
Default morphs > Roostling, cygnest, and broodlett

🍒 This mix's size varies widley. They can be Plumie-sized, Furnan-sized or anywhere in between!
🍒 The feeling in the wings and tail tip is reduced due to it being wood. However, these will still bleed if cut (much to the unaware's alarm), heal themselves, and grow

HannahBug

Papillon-Mix.png141: Papillon Mix: Furnan + Fawn
Based on suggestions by sourhour and VyrusVoyd!

🌿 Hatchling:
Creation > Follow the Fawn guide
Anatomy differences > Replace the head fluff with thorny branches (these can be thicker like shown above or just twigs like a Fern has). The ears are slightly longer with "butterfly" flaps near the head. Remove the cheek fluff. The pouches "attach" to the lower half of the eyes and take on simple, blobby shapes. Add pronounced fetlock joints to the paws and 2-3 flaps to the back.
Color differences > Sticks can be anything that Ferns allow. Belly colors can follow Fawn rules or Fern rules (any warm color). Baby quills have the option of matching the wood color
Baby stuff > Baby quills. Baby spot is optional
Description form > No change. This mix iswarm-blooded by default

🌿 Young:
Design > Follow the Fawn design rules or the Fern design rules
Matures out of > Baby quills
Description form > "Favorite hiding place" field is optional. Can still participate in the Rite of Passage and earn a band

🌿 Youth:
This mix skips the youth stage!

🌿 Adult:
Default morphs > Common and regal
Matures into > Grows a tail blade with a simple, blobby shape to it. These are blunt and unable to cut much like saftey scissors
Misc > Can still participate in Feats and earn a hair style

🍒 Papillons may struggle with usual Fawn hair things due to the somewhat stiff, woody nature of their hair. It can be done, but it's not easy...
🍒 These mixes are about a head or two shorter than your common morphed fawn. Their small size can make them even more skittish and reclusive than normal

HannahBug

Briarpatch-Mix.png142: Briarpatch Mix: Furnan + Subterfewege
Based on suggestions by sourhour and VyrusVoyd!

🌿 Hatchling:
Creation > Follow the Ewe guide
Anatomy differences > Wool obscures the head, arms, back and tail tip, but skin shows everywhere else. Small twigs are present anywhere in the fluff (must have at least 1 twig in 1 place). There is only one large belly scale on the chest. Below it, there are three creases in the body that mimic the look of Ewe mouths (but aren't!). There are 3 Fern flaps on the back, but you probably won't see them at this age
Color differences > Sticks can be anything that Ferns allow. Belly color/mouth can be any warm color. Likewise, the skin can be any warm color
Baby stuff > Baby face
Description form > Include a 'blood type' field. This mix is warm-blooded by default

🌿 Young:
Design > Follow the Fern design rules or the Ewe design rules
Matures out of > Baby face
Matures into > The wool recedes, revealing the upper arms, muzzle, and most of the body. Wool remains on the back flaps and on the tail tip
Description form > Include an "sweet or spicy" and/or a "favorite hiding place" field

🌿 Youth:
Usable youth upgrades > Arm flaps, blotches, bruise spots, chubby, color points, extra twigs, missing teeth, sandy blood, short stature, arm puffs, back plates, bone disks, bedhead, drip wool, half-face

🌿 Adult:
Default morphs > Joey, fae, reach, goblin, wally, fairy, and noodle

🍒 Briarpatch mixes are mysteriously regular-sized or Fern-sized. There is no un-upgraded in between
🍒 Without eyes, this mix is blind. However, the head mouth functions as normal
🍒 If this mix has the spicy flavor type, it's no joke! It's super-powered, making things they touch go to ghost pepper levels of pop

HannahBug

Branching-Mix.png143: Branching Mix: Furnan + Pterrur
Based on a suggestion from VyrusVoyd!

🌿 Hatchling:
Creation > Follow the Pterrur guide
Anatomy differences > The ears are the same size, but slightly lumpy instead of fluffy. The crest part of the head crest is replaced with what looks like a tiny branch. The paw pads go away and the paws themselves are replaced with Fern-like hooves, fetlock joints included. The wing membranes develop three bumps towards their tips. The belly scales are rounded
Color differences > The base color can be any brown or any warm color. The stick on the crest/the crest itself may be the crest color or anything that Ferns allow. Belly colors can be any one of the 3 defaults (see here) or any warm color
Baby stuff > Baby fin. Optional belly color tingeing
Description form > No change. This mix may be warm or cold-blooded

🌿 Young:
Design > Follow the Fern design rules or the Pterrur design rules
Matures out of > Baby fin and belly color tingeing
Description form > Include an "art type" and/or a "favorite hiding place" field

🌿 Youth:
Usable youth upgrades > Arm flaps, blotches, bruise spots, chubby, color points, drowsiness, extra twigs, missing teeth, sandy blood, short stature, boomnana crest, dual crest, fin shreds, fork crest, mountain crest, plow crest, tower crest
Matures into > If not replaced with a crest upgrade, the branch crest can grow into a larger branch! This allows for the adding of more twigs, too. Size is unlimited

🌿 Adult:
Default morphs > Saur, saurus, and saurling

🍒 Branching Mixes are about half the size a Pterrur should be, generally making them around 3-2 feet tall
🍒 Due to their unique crests they can get from their mix types, these keke usually do their best not to develop youth upgrade crests. They could get something cooler by skipping out!

HannahBug

Lifeblood-Mix.png144: Lifeblood Mix: Furnan + Superior
Based on suggestions by Anhelisk and VyrusVoyd!

🌿 Hatchling:
Creation > Follow the Soup guide
Anatomy differences > The ears are quite long and bumpy like a Fern's. Add a few flaps onto the back, but curl the tips. The mane, head tuft, and tail tip are replaced with what seems to be super curly wet sand
Color differences > Sand-hair can be any color and feature speckling of similar colors for texture
Baby stuff > Optional belly color tingeing
Description form > No change. This mix may be warm or cold-blooded

🌿 Young:
Design > Follow the Fern design rules or the Soup design rules
Matures out of > May optionally mature out of tingeing, but can also keep it!
Matures into > The hair and muzzle elongate at the regular rate for Soups (in both this age phase and the ones to follow)
Description form > Include an "art type" and/or a "favorite hiding place" field

🌿 Youth:
Usable youth upgrades > Arm flaps, blotches, bruise spots, chubby, color points, drowsiness, extra twigs, missing teeth, sandy blood, short stature, bedhead, glamorous hair, waterfall mane

🌿 Adult:
Default morphs > Joey, fae, reach, and goblin

🍒 Lifeblood Mixes can vary from being regular-sized to up to 3 feet too short. This doesn't generally disappoint them, though. It makes them petit(e) and elegant, as far as they're concerned
🍒 The wet sand that makes up their hair is super curly, often forming ringlets or kinks. It also looks like Fern blood. Ferns don't really like this.

HannahBug

Micro-Mix.png145: Micro Mix: Furnan + Wyrm

🌿 Hatchling:
Creation > Follow the regular guide for convenience sake
Anatomy differences > The ears and mane are made of lumpy, kinked fur. The tail is tufted with the same. Add a small head tuft. The cheek pouches have a mild bump to them. Add a third eye on the forehead. The wrists have pronounced fetlock joints. Add a small, bumpy manta ray-like "wing" behind the arms. Also add a second "wing" set behind the first
Color differences > All 3 eyes must be the same color
Baby stuff > Optional belly color tingeing
Description form > No change. This mix may be warm or cold-blooded

🌿 Young:
Design > Follow the Wyrm design rules
Matures out of > Belly color tingeing
Description form > Include an "art type" and/or a "favorite hiding place" field

🌿 Youth:
Usable youth upgrades > Arm flaps, blotches, bruise spots, chubby, color points, drowsiness, extra twigs, missing teeth, sandy blood, short stature, bad eyesight, bedhead, mini munchkin, sticky arms, warped eye

🌿 Adult:
Default morphs > Wally, fairy, noodle, minskin and pod

🍒 Furnans have tiny genes. Wyrms have tiny genes. This mix has...ultra tiny genes. They can be anywhere between Wyrm-sized to only a couple inches in height
🍒 This mix's "wings" aren't flight able and don't get any bigger than shown above without upgrades. They're more like flippers and can be used as inaccurate hands

HannahBug

Curlicue-Mix.png146: Curlicue Mix: Furnan + Spiced

🌿 Hatchling:
Creation > Follow the Spiced guide
Anatomy differences > The ear bumps are more rounded than the would usually be. The cheek pouches are bumpy/mildly pointed on the backside and have a swirl on them. The mane is made of up small "sticks" of cookie-cutout shapes. Add 2-3 Furnan-like flaps on the back, but add a curl at the base. Where there would be a fetlock joint, there's a curl on the wrists instead. The tail candy is replaced with a long, simple stick (lacking branches)
Color differences > Belly colors can be any warm color or pure white. Tail stick matches the cheek pouch color
Baby stuff > Optional drizzle points
Description form > This mix is warm-blooded by default. A blood check field is not required, as cold-blood is not possible

🌿 Young:
Design > Follow the Spiced design rules
Matures out of > Drizzle points
Description form > Include an "art type" and/or a "favorite hiding place" field

🌿 Youth:
Usable youth upgrades > Arm flaps, blotches, bruise spots, chubby, drowsiness, missing teeth, sandy blood, short stature, candy fangs, drizzle points, frosted fluff, and sprinkles

🌿 Adult:
Default morphs > Joey, fae, reach, and goblin

🍒 This mix is about average height, give or take a few inches
🍒 For some reason, Curlicue Mixes are softer in make than your average Spice. They're more like a soft-baked cookie and need to be more careful with themselves than usual!

HannahBug

Ice-Pop-Mix.png147: Ice Pop Mix: Furnan + Cece
Based on a suggestion by Kryptic-Splash!

🌿 Hatchling:
Creation > Follow the Cece guide
Anatomy differences > Remove all hair (except for the ears) and frosting. Add a head tuft, mane that runs along the whole spine, and tail tuft made of hardends frosting "sticks" (these can still turn to poison). The cheek pouches are attached to the lower part of the face, large, and lumpy. Remove one toe off each paw
Color differences > Frosting sticks may be any color, but must all be the same color. Belly colors can be one of the default blacks, pure white, or any warm color
Baby stuff > None
Description form > No change. This mix may be warm or cold-blooded

🌿 Young:
Design > Follow the Fern design rules or the Cece design rules
Matures out of > N/A
Description form > Include an "art type" and/or a "favorite hiding place" field

🌿 Youth:
Usable youth upgrades > Arm flaps, blotches, bruise spots, chubby, drowsiness, extra twigs, missing teeth, sandy blood, short stature, candy fangs, and sprinkles

🌿 Adult:
Default morphs > Joey, fae, reach, goblin, and layered

🍒 Ice Pop Mixes can grow to regular height, but usually stay around 1 to 2 feet tall
🍒 The frosting sticks on this mix will reflect the blood temperature, which earned them their name. Warm-blooded sticks will be a toasty-temperature, while cold blood makes for sticks cold enough for condensation to form!

HannahBug

Wingflap-Mix.png148: Wingflap Mix: Furnan + Exoskeletal
Based on a suggestion by uhavemail!

🌿 Hatchling:
Creation > Follow the Exo guide
Anatomy differences > The ear bands are lumpy in shape and, at the hatchling phase, will appear to cap the ears. Paws lack toes. Belly scales are still split in the middle, but are all circle-shaped like a Fern's. Add two skin flaps on the shoulder area, mimicking the look of wings
Color differences > Belly scales can be one of the 4 options for Exos or any warm color
Baby stuff > None
Description form > No change. This mix may be warm or cold-blooded

🌿 Young:
Design > Follow the Exo design rules
Matures into > The ears will elongate to their regular length with the bands now appearing to be towards the center
Matures out of > N/A
Description form > Include an "bug quirk" and/or a "favorite hiding place" field

🌿 Youth:
Usable youth upgrades > Arm flaps, blotches, bruise spots, chubby, drowsiness, extra twigs, missing teeth, sandy blood, short stature, arm molt, bedhead, boa, fake feelers, Pyrus joints, sticky molt

🌿 Adult:
Default morphs > Strider, reaper, bumble, and tumble

🍒 Wingflap Mixes have none of this Fern tininess! They are full sized! Rip to other Fern mixes, but they're different
🍒 The "wings" on this mix's back are not usually flight-able unless upgraded to a larger size. They are mobile, though, and can be used to glide short distances

HannahBug

Figurine-Mix.png149: Figurine Mix: Furnan + Zenith
Based on a suggestion by Anhelisk!

🌿 Hatchling:
Creation > Follow the Zenith guide. Breeds are restricted by the year, so be careful what you pick!
Anatomy differences > The cheek pouch fluff is smaller than it would normally be. The swirls on the belly scales meander around, more like lines on tree bark. For whatever Zen breed you choose, their traits on the tail tip, paws, and ears will be made out of wood. Due to this, it can be stylized more than normal
Color differences > The wooden parts can be any natural wood or bark color. Note that mixes won't be born with markings on the wood! Belly scales can be pure white, one of the default blacks, or any warm color
Baby stuff > None
Description form > Include a "breed" field. This mix can be cold or warm-blooded

🌿 Young:
Design > Follow the Fern or Zen design rules
Matures out of > N/A
Description form > Include an "art type" and/or a "favorite hiding place" field

🌿 Youth:
Usable youth upgrades > Arm flaps, blotches, bruise spots, chubby, drowsiness, extra twigs, missing teeth, sandy blood, short stature, bedhead, draconic horns, eye plating, glimmering accents, and shimmer horns

🌿 Adult:
Default morphs > Joey, fae, reach, goblin, wally, fairy, and noodle

🍒 Without upgrades, Figurine Mixes are entirely or almost entirely deaf. Wooden ears aren't great for hearing!
🍒 These mixes start out pretty small as babies, being only a couple inches long. They're much easier to predict what morph they'll grow into, as they'll either start shooting up like a weed (regular morphs) or stay around the same size (Fern morphs)

Marmalade-Mix.png150: Marmalade Mix: Furnan + Jellied
Based on a suggestion by sourhour!

🌿 Hatchling >
Creation > Follow the Fern guide
Anatomy differences > The ears will be pointy like a Gel's, but keep some bumps on the underside. The cheek pouch is smooth, but has a swirl on it. The belly scales are spaced out, but remain circular. Remove all sticks and replace them with large jelly globs. Add food in the jelly that follows Gel rules, but keep in mind this mix is tiny! Food will need to be very small like berries or cut up to fit in the jelly. Remove the back flaps
Color differences > The mane, head tuft, tail tuft, and belly scales can all be any color, but must be the same color. Food inside the jelly can be the regular colors it would be. Mouth/insides will be the accent color
Baby stuff > None
Description form > Include a "food" field. This mix can be cold or warm-blooded

🌿 Young:
Design > Follow the Gel or the Fern design rules. Note that Gel coloring can only go on the jelly!
Matures out of > N/A
Description form > Include an "sour or bitter" and/or a "favorite hiding place" field

🌿 Youth:
Usable youth upgrades > Arm flaps, blotches, bruise spots, chubby, drowsiness, missing teeth, sandy blood, short stature, fruit salad, purée, fin shreds, slippery scales, and waterfall mane

🌿 Adult:
Default morphs > Wally, fairy, and noodle

🍒 Marmalade Mixes are Fern-sized. Because of this, most bigger keke feel a little bad about accepting their jelly as a gift. They don't have much! Only take the tiniest nibble...
🍒 If a Marmalade Mix has too much food in their jelly, it can be quite heavy and has to potential to cause posture problems
