“I see you have two ‘daughters.’ I’m curious, why do you treat Nauthen worse than Runa? Did she do something to anger you? It seems a little unfair to do that, don’t you think?” Tazzi raised a brow skeptically. The force could tell her many things, but she was not exactly a mind-reader. Well, not as accomplished as some of the other Knights.

“I’ll tell her you said that, she’ll be happy,” Tazzi commented with a chuckle. “And in a lot of ways...yeah, she is my rock. Eden is a lot more...” She searched for the right word. “Stable, than I am. I have a lot of influence over her when we’re on missions, and she typically agrees with me on the, ah, aggressive negotiations. But I’ll be the first to admit that I can get carried away, and Eden is usually there to pull me back into reality.”

“As for emotional support, Eden is the only person I can go to about that stuff besides my master. She gives solid advice as well as hugs. If I get injured, she helps me pull through and visits me every day in the medical wing. I’ve never met anyone like her who really understands me, again with the exception of my master. He sees right through me too,” she said with a small smile. “Anyway, without Eden I don’t know what I would do. She’s my best friend, my biggest supporter, and partner in defending the galaxy.”

"You and Eden have a very adorable relationship! I was wondering though... Does Eden act as your rock somewhat? I know she keeps you out of trouble, but is she someone you rely on for emotional and physical support?"

"I think they may let me go eventually.... I think... there will come a time when I need to lead the kingdom after all. But it might be even later than now if I didn't accept this invitation.." 

"Seiro is kind and respectful, but he's much much older than me. So he's good at what he does, but he keeps his distance."

"How'd you meet Xander? Did you two meet by chance...? And why do you only trust Xander and the others in the group of people you trust?"

"How I met Yuu, huh? Well... Let's see. We became friends after we got assigned together in high school for a project and we hit it off as friends at first. We were always really close, I vent to him, he vents to me. He saw me go through a lot of boyfriends and I cried on his shoulder, like, almost every couple of weeks. But I guess... My boyfriend before Yuuto, he was really bad to me. When we finally broke up, he threatened to do... bad things to me. Yuuto stood up for me and almost fought him a few weeks before, like, Summer vacation into Junior year. It was great.  After that, I saw him in a new light. He wasn't that quiet, funny and sometimes stupid brotherly friend anymore. He was... Strong and willing to protect me. Along with being super cute and still a bit of a blockhead, but that's different." She chuckled to herself. "We finally started dating Junior year when I confessed to him about my family situation when we were hanging out at my piece of shit of an apartment... He vowed to be with me for forever, and... That was the moment I knew. He was my soulmate." 

"So your boyfriend, what drew you to him in the first place?"

"Oh we're just good friends, there's nothing more to it than that. As for how we met though, that's... that's a very long story..."

"I'm quite curious between you and Magnesium,tell me, how did you two meet and ...what kind of relationship you actually in?"

"Well now, who was Horizon to you? I'm sure you see him more than just your mentor. Is he like a family or what?"

"A sailor, huh? Gods, that must be such an amazing life. You and Captain Donovan must've done some cool stuff in your time together."

She looks around furtively for a moment, then grins, wings flittering in excitement.

"And..." she whispers with a wink, "you seem awfully fond of him. What drew you together? Is just the sort of daring romantic atmosphere that comes with the lifestyle of an adventurer -- if so I totally feel you -- or was it something else?"

Lhovi gives a bit of a tense smile, conveying some vague discomfort.

"Ah, that's... kind of a crazy story," she sighs. "Not really a super happy one, either... I'll try to keep this brief, spare some of the details. Perry and I met outside a crowded bar in some town -- you know those towns on the road, where people are constantly passing through? That kind of place -- and it's the same way I met Klang and..." 

She closes her eyes a moment and sighs again, this time more somberly. "... and Grubby, his dog -- not just his dog, really, his best friend... and Adelaide; really naive, but she just wanted to believe the best. We were all just a bunch of travelers, brought together by... something. Fate, bad luck maybe. Random chance. I don't know. Anyway, we all figured we were bold enough to try and help people -- lot of missing folks, posted up on the wall outside that bar -- and it ended up getting us in probably the worst situation we'd ever been in. I dont... I don't really wanna get into the details of this, but... at the end of the day, Grubby didn't make it, and... neither did Adelaide."

She looks down, quiet for a while, then looks back up.

"I wish i could tell you more," she continues, an intent, truthful look in her eyes. "Really, I do; this stuff is heavy... but I probably shouldn't. Suffice it to say, Perry got an offer from... someone, and she wasn't really in a position to refuse it. If she had, I don't know if any of us would have gotten out of it alive... probably not."

Gabe tipped his head, his hand under his chin in a sort of curious fascination. "How did you meet than Perry girl? Perry.. Beaton?" He asked, giving her a look. "And.. you don't have to answer if you don't want, but-" He blinked, looking up as if deciding how to ask. "-what kind of, ahm, 'sacrifice' did she make?"

"..." Gabriel said nothing for a moment, his face darkening before he tipped his head, hiding his grim expression behind his curly hair. "Yes," he answered suddenly, looking up. Whatever expression had begun forming was hidden behind some kind of emotional shield he'd placed. Blank. "My aunt picked up on it rather quickly. At first, even I didn't notice what he was doing to me and I didn't listen to her. But.. when I finally recognized his intentions, it was too late." He didn't seem to want to elaborate. "He hardly let me speak to other people at my school without him standing over my shoulder, so yeah, I'd say that situation ruined a few relationships."

Did anyone notice what was going on with Greyson?  Did they try to warn/help Gabe?  Did his & grey's relationship affect Gabe's other relationships?

"Ah-"  Maverick shifts his weight, pleased but still completely caught off guard by someone seeing his relationship with Lorant as something to aspire to.  "Well, I suppose having a foundation of both being interested in the same field is very important.  Which....might be a given, if you've both committed to being master and apprentice, but given some of the teachers I've met you can't be too sure...Lorant personally I think responds well to having an adult listen to what he has to say, but probably a mutual exchange of respect is a good thing to have in any relationship.  He isn't as experienced, but that doesn't mean his ideas and techniques are inherently inferior to mine.  We've learned a lot together, from each other."

"Do not fall into the trap of thinking yourself superior just because you have some level of authority or seniority.  You are both people, and should treat each other as such.  Beyond the intellectual elements you as an older person have a responsibility to set a good example, and treating your student like garbage just sets them up to do the same to the generation after them."

Maverick doesn't really think of himself as emotionally intelligent, he's just really passionate about how much he hates the public school system & is still kinda mad about how he was failed by every adult in his life growing up & wants to make the world better for the next generation of kids and without having made his own biological spawn he's just spite-parenting Lorant at this point.  am i projecting too much

"My wife...?

Dear, imagine losing everything, years ago, that mattered to you; Family, a Home, friends. All lost to murder and death. Then you spend the next thousands of years alone, looking for a home and someone to occupy your empty soul. That was where I found her.

It's not just the beauty of her but how she understood the agonies within. She stood by me for years on end and our love solidifed. It was like we were meant to be one couple. I saw her as the only thing left that matters. I kept a firm grip on her, making sure she was safe from those who would try to kill her; I couldn't let that happen. She taught me that you keep what you deserved and don't let anyone else take it from you. Its as if your life depended on it.

The most romantic part of our lives was our wedding. I keep it dear to my heart when I saw her come down the aisle...in the most beautiful dress I have ever seen in my life -sniff-. Its as if she was a true Goddess in my heart... God bless her soul.

I really miss her...I couldn't find another woman as special as her....

"Sooo, wanna tell me about that ice goddess wife of yours? Was it love at first sight? What's the most romantic thing you ever did together?"

"Oh, sure, absolutely. It's usually something job-related, like he wants to come up with some super convoluted plan and I say act first, plan later. We also butt heads quite a bit when it comes to his well-being because I think he should maybe stop being so cruel to himself and he thinks I should mind my own damn business. But it's fine - we usually get tired of arguing after a few minutes and there's rarely any hard feelings, and if one of us really messed up, we're usually pretty quick to apologize to each other. I think the worst argument we ever had was that one time I kept putting his blood ration in front of him until he snapped, hysterically monologued at me for five straight minutes, and then spent the rest of the day in his room sulking, but that was admittedly really shitty of me and we talked that out a few hours later and everything was fine again before the day was over. Needless to say, I learned my lesson."

'You and that Augustus guy are pretty different, aren't you? Have you two ever had a serious disagreement or argument about something? I'm sure you must have at some point. I mean, even people who are really close have their bad moments.'

'It took a little while before we really started to get along. In fact, we didn't really talk to each other at all for the first week, though we didn't get into any arguments. It's hard to have an argument with someone when you're not speaking to them. But then she started talking to me, and we realised that we actually clicked pretty well. And few days later, Loch came up with the idea that we could write a song together, without the rest of the band's help. You know, kind of as a surprise to them. And I think, maybe, the process of writing that song helped us to get closer. We definitely both considered each other good friends after it was done, and we've only gotten closer since then!'
