Prompt P1 - Give your lion a basic personality.

It is said that Mnene doesn't have a single bad bone in her body. Her heart is pure and she only wishes to do want is best, unlike many other members of her pride and beyond. She is patient and caring, watching over the cubs from dawn to dusk everyday. With a job like that, you can imagine that she would never want kids of her own, but instead loves every cub as her own. In addition, many fierce lions have tried to win her heart, but she is waiting for the perfect companion to her own kind personality.

The only error in her perfect persona is her low self-esteem. She is constantly self conscious of what others judge of her actions, and some days she would rather cower than face the world, afraid that she may disappoint someone. She was raised as the youngest of an old lion couple, and never could measure up to the others' high achievements. Instead, she developed her current theory that kindness with get you further than violence, which she lives by everyday.

More so than probably any other pride member, Mnene struggles with loss. As the nursery lioness, she is with every member of the pride from the moment they are born, and if not them, their children. She's seen every moment of discovery, every heartbreak, and felt the love like their own mother. She puts her whole heart into each cub, and as she says, a part of her will always be with them. Her identity and purpose for her own life lies in the lives of those she cares for. For these reasons, when one of her pride mates dies, a part of her dies too. While her position keeps her busy, she will grieve inside for weeks, although she keeps it contained. Indeed, for others it's hard to tell that's she's hurting, with the only telltale sign being her abnormal silence and wet streaks of fur down her cheeks. Even with the pain, though, she is always there for those that need a counselor. Many feel most at peace talking to her, who's being a therapist to them their entire lives and is the most empathetic to how they feel. Even though it's hard on her, in times of loss the pride would be so much worse off without her.
