Like most guardians, Okuphakade has always preferred to make a difference for others without being seen. Because of this, it's always been his way to stay silent about himself and his ways when he does encounter a more conversational lion. You could call it humility or being antisocial, but Kade has never known anything different. For him, there's no reason to hold conversations with others, much less talk about himself. He doesn't volunteer any information about himself or anything else unless questioned, which often drives potential friends away. Luckily (or unluckily in his eyes), once lions get to know his nature, they can recognize when and how to get him to talk. Even then, though, he is careful not to let a detail of his past slip out unchecked. The less others know, the less there is to tie him to a certain time and less to cause him trouble. Tight-lipped is his way, and he has no desire to change that.
