Information on Nero, Nicholas and Zer!

Nero's backstory was the first I wanted to work on but holy crap I got nowhere with it fast. X_x;.. So excerpts only! Nicholas's backstory. Originally written in like 2018, one part a night. Some nights more parts. I don't remember. It's been years. :P And Zer Oshay's backstory. This one was written shortly after Nicholas's backstory, but I never kinda got anywhere with it.

But also some world info! :)

Nicholas Kestrel - Ch 1: Page 10

The day started like any other. Nicholas woke up way too early. As usual, coffee was the first thing on his mind. After making some, he sat back and turned on the television. Too early for a proper broadcast, but there was some news on.

Just the same old, still looking for the perpetrators of the robbery, no leads, gunmen were a distraction.. Even the police caught on to that. Nicholas just sat back with his coffee.

When Nicholas finally felt awake enough, he took a shower, got properly dressed and decided to.. Watch more television. Without his car, he was effectively stranded.

And so, hours passed. Nicholas played with a deck of cards, ate breakfast, watched more television.. After days of the same rituals, he had definitely gotten a bit bored. And somewhat paranoid.

Nothing for days. They should've known he was still in town. But nobody appeared. No cops, no cartel, no nothing. He hadn't been outside for days either. When the phone rang, Nicholas pretty much jumped in surprise.

After gathering his nerves, he picked up. "Hello sir, your car is fixed and ready to go!" Nicholas eyed the clock. The garage had been open for what, half an hour? It must've been finished yesterday.

"Alright, could you drop it off near the Vacation Motel?" Nicholas asked. He didn't want to go outside for no good reason. The man agreed, for an additional charge. Whatever, Nicholas still had enough.

So about an hour later, his car arrives, Nicholas paid the repair fee and drove off. To the gas station, and then out of town.

But Nicholas found his paranoia to be on the dot. As he drove away from the station, he spotted a familiar truck driving behind him. He was being followed.

Back on the open road, Nicholas soon discovered their latest intent. Ram him off the road, make it look like an accident. He got bumped a few times, but with his car patched up, he managed to stay ahead of the truck.

A gunshot. Guess they're tired of making it look like an accident. But Nicholas manages to avoid by swerving around. He was slowly getting ahead of them, he could actually lose them! He could

What the fuck

Without even the slightest of warning, the earth cracked open in front of him. The asphalt split and before Nicholas could swerve or break, he had driven off the edge.

The sight was breathtaking. Nicholas realized his life was at an end, but the magma lit everything up from so far down.. Oxygen was getting thinner, mind hazy..

Nicholas had front row seats to the end of the world.

The entire planet had broken in half.

Nicholas blacked out as gravity released it's hold on him. Just before it finally went dark, everything actually lit up from the core seemingly exploding.

Had he not fallen unconscious, he would have been one of the few people who could see the planet tearing itself apart.

Earth was no more.
