Saffron Crephusa

saffron is a blumetrian, who was somehow pulled through a dimensional rift by the enochian entities. as a being fueled by arcane energy, the enochians found it to be a good idea to drag them over to their world, to get, well... they weren’t really thinking at the time, but the entities often tend to act first, deal with the repurcussions later. and deal with it they did! saffron turned out to bring an entirely new form of arcane energy to the table, which though powerful, lacked the mutative force regular magic possessed. very quickly, saffron was removed from the hands of the enochians, and into those of estu vuzhu. before poor, gobsmacked saffron could be turned into a full-time test subject, estu vuzhu snatched them along to become a more... temporary test subject. 

even so, saffron is hopelessly bamboozled, and overcome with a lonely feeling. they were suddenly pulled from their home dimension, after all, and have little to no clue whether they can return or not. it’s been hard trying to stay positive, but... the people of the haven plane have been bery welcoming, and insist that their arrival is extremely valuable to magic research. in a way, they’re happy, about being wanted. back home, they weren’t really anything special, and, well... suddenly they’re sort of a celebrity! it’s all so overwhelming, but nice, in a way.

in the meantime, saffron has been making friends with the fae. they feel a sort of kinship with them, with how they’re so unique and capricious. every once a while, they find the courage to venture to the uncharted lands — they’ve managed to make a couple friends with the odd people in the occasional settlements, but soon after, estu vuzhu seems to appear out of thin air, and scoldingly drag them back to the city. they really don’t get what the fuss is about, if the kind of magic they find so interesting is anywhere, it would be there, in those big, boundless stretches of land!
