Hirayama Mamoru

resident handyman of an apartment complex in kyoto, and secret vampire. mamoru is one of a more recent generation, and is actually only a decade older than his apparent age. mamoru was born and raised in kyoto, and though he was homeschooled and never had too many friends, he dreads the day he inevitably has to leave, before his eternal youth becomes suspicious. for now, though, he’s keeping himself plenty occupied. mamoru is the kind of guy you can count on to get anything done, whether it be work around the house, or generally being a good neighbor. he’s nice, for sure, but absolutely does not have a way with words.

despite being labelled as quite the hunk by some of the women in the building, mamoru is... honestly, kind of boring. he has an arsenal of extremely tacky sweaters, and he’s obsessed with every single one. this specific habit may be the sole thing that’s even a little bit interesting about him, as he simply doesn’t seem to have anything going on. mr. tall buff and handsome simply seems to stay in the house all day, go to the gym after work hours, and go to sleep. all activity ceases in his apartment after about 10 pm, and that would be it, as far as his neighbors are aware. he doesn’t go out much, barely invites people over, and only ever talks about mundane, daily life things. however, as of late, there sure have been an awful lot of bats roosting under his window...
