Medusa

the original medusa of sarpedon, posthumously reappeared. one of the few olympian deities still roaming this earth, revived for a single reason: be aphrodite’s manager.

after being slain by the hands of perseus, the sole thing that remained of her was her head, and the still-living snakes attached to it. in an act of unfathomable mourning, athena bound the head of the one she wronged so terribly to her shield, as a symbol of power and defense. when the reign of the olympian gods came to an end, the shield was donated to the gorgons, who worshipped and mourned their ancient mother, her ability long died down. it was this very head that allowed eccentrics, better known as the high council of magic, to bring her back.

as a personal request from the goddess aphrodite, the headmaster of telekinesis and necromancy worked together to siphon her soul back into the living world, and feed her into one of the modern world’s grandest inventions: the automaton. aphrodite welcomed the gorgon back with open arms, and wished for the two of them to simply make it big once more. why the goddess chose her of all people, while the dionysian pantheon is well and alive, she still doesn’t know. she’s happy to be back, though, so she daren’t question her too much.

her return has made her much more bold and harsh. once medusa was timid, and carefree, but death has hardened her by a significant amount. her words are like venom, should you dare get on her bad side, but her kind side may surface once in a blue moon. the world of showbizz is a rough one, though, and her new tough exterior has made her impenetrable as a manager. it’s her way, or the highway — medusa is sick and tired of messing around.
