Profile

Personality: While she can be a little unpredictable at times, her general demeanor is lighthearted and relaxed.  She usually enjoys calm activities that can be done at home, and while she generally isn’t the most socially active person out there, it would be very incorrect to say that she’s shy.  In reality, she loves to get attention, and she doesn’t usually get anxiety around others, she just doesn’t force herself into those kinds of situations unless she has to, and secretly wishes that she could perform on stage.  She’s very inquisitive (more street smart than book smart, but she tries to be both) and loves it when her small bits of knowledge about a whole bunch of random topics comes in handy.  Humility is a trait that she tries to strive for, but really doesn’t make the mark.  This is due to her extremely competitive nature; stopping at almost nothing to win in a competition and gloating about her victory well into the future.

Backstory: (Note: this is not the canon origin story of Anna’s species, but since the creator doesn’t have one written, this is just my interpretation.  In my universe for my characters, Anna is one of only two Bovimera that exist, but if you would like to use this history for your own bovimera, please feel free ^^)

A long time ago, the threat of a great foe loomed over the land of Tsilrein.  The monster, known as Eirible, was a great and terrible beast- capable of eradicating Tsilra spirits and bending metal with the touch of a hand.  By chance, the people of Tsilrein managed to defeat the beast, but with the ominous promise of his return, the Tsilrans decided to create a weapon- biological in nature so that it would not bend or fade away to the monster’s touch.  It took many years, but soon enough, their vision became a reality in the form of Anna.  She first gained consciousness at the age of 3 and was able to survive without the help of machines, but despite her mystical origins, she was no different than a normal child.  Regardless, Anna was trained as a warrior of Tsilrein, taught the gospel of the people, and grew with the sole purpose of one day saving the land from the monster.  However, that monster never came, and as time went on, Anna became concerned that she would one day grow old and die before the monster’s prophesied arrival.  Every day her concerns were strengthened, until one day, she had enough- she would seek out the monster herself and destroy him before he even had the chance to make his attack.

With the help of a few Tsilra friends, Anna managed to escape Tsilrein undetected, and she began her quest.

The world outside Tsilrein was confusing to Anna- everything felt faster, and louder, and for the first time since she woke up, she felt like she was able to speak and act how she always wanted to.  She loved her time outside Tsilrein, and met many friends along her travels, but soon, she refocused her attention on her primary objective, and eventually found herself far away from modern civilization.  She had heard word of a monster that slept in a blackened pit in the middle of a cursed desert- recovering from the wounds inflicted upon them centuries ago.  She knew it had to be Eirible.  In the dead of night, she went there, eventually reaching the pit and climbing down to where the monster allegedly lurked.  That is when she saw him- the monster of legend that she had been training her whole life to face- fast asleep.  What’s more, he seemed to have a snake tail just like her, as well as wings, horns, and paws that all seemed identical to her own, albeit differently colored.  He was a Bovimera just like her.  She was certain that this was the monster she was looking for, but now she was unsure...  She looked down at her claws, debating with herself over what she was supposed to do next.  Surely she couldn’t just kill him in his sleep- that felt wrong.  Luckily for Anna however, he began to stir before she had the chance to make a decision, and she stepped back with surprise as the monster awoke from his slumber and turned to face her.  But still, he did nothing, and neither did she.  They stood facing one another in shocked silence until Eirible eventually broke the tension with “who the hell are you?”

From there, the two began to talk, and Anna discovered that Eirible had been at full strength for quite some time now, but he had no desire to return to Tsilrein.  He explained that he had his reasons for attacking it at some point, but now he was just tired, and wanted nothing more to do with it.  Within an instant, Anna felt like her purpose in life had completely disappeared- all that training and preparation had gone to waste.  She expressed this to Eirible with more emotion in her voice than she had intended, to which he consoled her and apologized for not being the person she had hoped he would be.  He went on to encourage Anna to find a new purpose in her life that was all her own, and that she didn’t have to be a tool for anybody to use anymore.  Anna was moved by his kindness and agreed, but just as she was about to leave, she invited Eirible to come with her- saying that they could both find a new purpose with each other’s help.

And from that point on, Eirible and Anna have been traveling the world together.  Soon, Anna discovered her passion for art and working with fabrics, while Eirible discovered his passion for writing and storytelling, but even though they both feel as though they have found new purposes, they continue to travel together on occasion for old time’s sake, and they have become very close friends over the years.
