Profile

Personality:

Loyal - Envious - Self-conscious - Gluttonous - Sporty - Funny - Fratbro

Powers/Abilities:

Blood Storage and Transfer: Due to his ancient vampire species, Sullivan's stomach can hold up to 2 gallons of blood or food. He can also transfer blood to younger vampires and feed them.

Enhanced Strength: Sullivan is stronger than the average human, even without working his muscles, although like any human, exercise helps his strength grow. His bite can tear through flesh and scales without an issue.

Increased Vampiric Desire: Sullivan has more frequent Blood Lusting stages and hunger than most vampires. This means he requires more blood to feel satisfied and his substance from blood is decreased. Sullivan balances this hunger with normal food.

Vampiric Senses: Sullivan can smell blood from 5 miles away and faintly taste blood if it is 100 feet away.

Extended BIO:

Sullivan in the modern era fits in better than you'd think. Sullivan is a college student who is rooming with three others; Kes, Garde, and Gabe. He spends his time partying his days away and eating a LOT of fast food. He met Glenys in high school, where he was a popular jock, and she slowly learned his secret that he is a vampire. His roommates also know. Sullivan's first year in college went smoothly, but his sophomore year, his own handle on himself began to decline. Glenys became friends with two tieflings: Interesting and Peculiar. Both of them grew close to her and it made Sullivan jealous to no end. He ended up nearly killing Pecky a few times out of pure anger and envy, although Pecky never told Glenys and generally stayed very friendly to Sullivan, despite his violent nature to the tiefling.

Then Sullivan attacked Interesting during a band practice after he asked Glenys out for an event after practice. Interesting was not as forgiving as his brother and told Glenys about Sullivan's violent habits. Terrified and angry, Glenys breaks up with Sullivan after being with him for three years. An emotional and physical wreck, Sullivan lost his control over his vicious vampire instincts. He got a job from Peculiar to take out and maim criminals that were being targeted by the Most Wanted List, reaping the monetary rewards and satisfying an outlet to unleash his rage and grief. During this period of time, Sullivan attends a local frat party while he was particularly depressed. He drank and took a dangerous amount of drugs, causing him to black out. When he came to, he realized he had killed and eaten a student that had attended the party, also scarring Peculiar's second-in-command, Guinevere, who saw the aftermath. Sullivan briefly hid at home, but he was detained by the police and questioned by Yarnham's primary monster specialist detective, Jack Spade.

Jack recognized Sullivan was mentally unwell, so he was detained to a facility that contained and treated mentally ill patients, specifically those who are more monstrous (either physically or through their actions) in nature. He met a few friends in his therapy sessions, although ultimately, Sullivan is still unable to get over his obsession for Glenys and is convinced they must get back together and he just has to "get better" in order to get her back. Sullivan eventually is released from the facility after a few months and returns to college. During this, he works and grows closer to Peculiar (only getting in mild trouble with the law along the way) and begins to meet Glenys up again, even gaining her friendship back. Things seem to be looking up.

Then, Sullivan learns that during their break-up, Glenys has been seeing Gabe, his roommate, in the meantime. This brings back all of Sullivan's envy, rage, and fear and the two have a bloody and extensive fight in the house, leaving it a mess. Gabe makes it out on top, but just barely. Glenys finds out and realizes that Sullivan hasn't really changed and he will still attack and get irrationally angry at other people who so much as poses a threat to the two. She distances herself again and Sullivan continues to spiral into his own grief and sadness for a few weeks, usually ending in violence against others. This causes the facility to detain him again. Except... this isn't the facility.

Sullivan winds up in a secret ward in the hospital that captures vampires and attempts to shift them into humans again. Their methods don't work on Sullivan's species of vampire, though, so they instead choose to isolate him where the leader of the operation, Sinclair, gets to toy with Sullivan's instincts. Sullivan was starved and then given hospital aids to eventually attack and eat, as well as just generally poked and cut open to analyze and learn more about his species. One of Glenys' friends who recognizes him, Emmet, finds Sullivan while volunteering and helps him escape, bringing Sullivan back home. He has to be nursed back to health after loosing a lot of weight and having multiple infections from the sketchy experiments.

Currently, Sullivan is not with Glenys, although he has found another partner he likes in his favorite diner's chef, Eden, although his recognition of his jealousy and dangerous envy keeps him at an arm's length. He still relies on his other friends a bit too much to keep his own mental health stable, although he is slowly getting better and trying to let go of Glenys, but something inside of him won't let him.
